Amelia followed blankly as Damien dragged her into one of Liavenne's stores. Damien, feeling offended that she had refused to take his advice, took her to the store, wanting to show her his 'artistic prowess' despite her warnings that they still had quite a lot of work to take care of.
Apparently, this Liavenne store was one dedicated solely to Damien's designs. Inside the store, mannequins were draped in exquisite gowns, sleek tailored suits hung on racks, and accessories gleamed under the warm lighting. The entire store exuded sophistication.
Damien released her wrist and crossed his arms. "Take a good look, Amelia. This is what attention to detail creates."
Damien lifted his chin high, expecting her look of awe and for her to praise him, but all that came out from her lips was a simple, "Ohh."
Damien's lips thinned as he stared at Amelia in disbelief. "Just ohh?"
