Hazuki sighed, rubbing his temples.
"Haaa… whatever…" He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. Then—he looked at the guards.
"Anyway…" He scratched his head. "Is there a bank or an Adventurer's Guild here?"
One of the guards crossed his arms, nodding.
"We have an Adventurer's Guild, but it's a small one."
The other shrugged.
"And a bank? You'll need to go to the capital city for that."
Hazuki clicked his tongue.
Well, the Adventurer's Guild will do." He stretched his arms. "I just need to withdraw some money."
The guards chuckled.
"Yeah, good luck. And again—welcome to Hazlin Town."
Hazuki grinned.
"Jeez, thanks, chibi."
"OI!"
Before the angry halfling guards could react, Hazuki dashed past them, laughing as he ran into town.
"AHAHAHAHA!"
The guards fumed, shaking their fists.
"Damn it! We should've taxed him just for that!"
