Hazuki smirked as he watched the remaining goblins scatter into the woods like frightened rats.
"Damn! If I had magic, I could've wiped them all out in one go!" he grumbled, kicking a goblin corpse aside.
With the battle over, he turned his focus to the most important part—looting.
He picked up a goblin club and swung it halfheartedly. "Meh… too heavy. And I doubt anyone would pay much for this." He tossed it aside.
Next, he checked another corpse. "Slingshot? Pffft, like hell I'm selling this trash." He flung it over his shoulder.
Moving from body to body, he rummaged through their belongings. "C'mon, something good—" He dug through a goblin's purse and pulled out a few copper coins.
"…Seriously? That's it?"
He sighed, but then a thought struck him. "Wait… why do goblins even need money? Do they pay taxes or something?" He snorted. "Or maybe… this is from the poor fools they've killed?"
