Gikan looked up from inspecting a crimson-scaled serpent.
"Hmm?"
Hazuki pointed at the pile, a gleam in his eye.
"Estimate gold I can get from this?"
Gikan ran a quick mental tally, eyes darting between hides, bones, and magical cores.
"Easily... twelve to twenty gold."
He paused.
"Depending on the internal damage, rarity, and if anything was cleanly extracted or usable."
"You hear that, Ridan!!?" Hazuki threw both arms up, a wild grin spreading across his face.
"Wooo!! I'm rich!!"
He did a small spin, arms flailing like he just won the lottery.
Gikan blinked.
Ridan…?
He looked around.
No one there.
Just the black-haired human shouting at the sky.
Ridan floated up from Hazuki's shoulder, his misty form swirling in excitement like a spinning puffball.
"That's food money!!" he cackled mid-air.
"Give me premium wyvern meat this time!!"
Hazuki rolled his eyes.
