Hundreds of years ago…
Sett walked through the royal palace, enjoying the sight of doves in the royal pond as he did. The greenery of the palace never seemed to bore him. It was such a great sight compared to the drab deserts and hot cities out there.
He hummed a simple tune as he walked past one corridor after the other, feeling the morning coolness on his skin. Soon, he reached an especially girly corridor and, smirking to himself, sneaked past the oblivious maids.
They would make a fuss if they saw him—sometimes, it was better to avoid them.
Sett passed another corridor and finally reached his target. It was a closed room, but to Sett, opening it was simple.
He entered the room with the extra key in his hand and sighed at the sight inside.
There was a bed in the middle and whoever was sleeping there was too far in their dreams to even notice an intruder.
Sett went up to the bed and pulled off the bedsheet over the woman.
