Neilara taught him patiently: "That is why, one must create their own codes of honor and dishonor. Good and Bad. What the scriptures say is good and bad is not your good and bad. Decide for yourself what matters to you."

Sett nodded.

If the world says something is bad, do not accept that at face value. 

Be you.

Be your own scripture.

Be your own God.

If you are an evil God in the face of society, fine as well.

"So, why did you say all of this to the boy, Neilara?" Ismera asked.

"Because I did not want him to lose himself in the fake pursuit of being honorable. At least, if he wants to maintain honor and dignity, he should do that by his own standards and not ones imposed by others."

"Oh…" Sett nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"Anyway, Sett," Neilara added. "Don't go destroying statues of gods if there is no benefit to doing that. Especially when there might be potential drawbacks."
