The young man did not seem to have seen their expression and nodded like a young chick pecking on grain, "Please come with me, guests."
He led them through the hall, filled with only limited tables, to a table next to a glass wall. Since the restaurant was on the tenth floor, they could see almost the entire city from there.
"Here you are, dear guests." The young man bowed to them and left after giving them some basic introductions and three menus.
Alvin could not look away from the beautiful view of the peaceful city he could see from the wall; the smooth jazz music playing in the background made him feel like drinking some blood.
"Are you not going to eat anything?"
Alvin snapped back and faced Elara, who was sitting opposite him. Even now, Vanessa stood behind Elara, her hands folded.
"I am not feeling hungry for now." The maid bowed a bit and remained standing in her position.
