"Surprised?"
Serena asked, but Elara was in no mood to respond; she easily got over her shock after a moment. Within a second she was before Serena and gripped her throat with her hands, or so she tried.
As soon as Elara's hands touched Serena's body, her eyes pulsed with a purple hue, and her body exploded into a thick mist of blood.
Elara frowned and jumped back as she watched a face condense in the mist from the blood.
"Finally, I can finally wield this power. Those who called me a failure and traitor will always." Serena looked at herself and muttered in elation; feeling the power coursing through her body, she became more and more engrossed in it.
While Elara was facing a formidable opponent, Alvin and Vanessa were not having much of a good time dealing with their opponents either. Unlike Serena, the two of her underlings became overwhelmed by the power coursing through them and started to lose their minds.
