Silas replied emotionlessly, "It's hauled up thousands of corpses from generations of my family. Some of them were already decomposing."
He leaned in slightly toward Silvanus, pointing at the dark red spots on the large fishing rod. He said in a low voice beside Silvanus's ear, "There are even bits of human flesh stuck on it. Want to touch it?"
