Andrea forwarded the call to the telephone line in the CEO's office. Eve picked up the call and used her most professional voice as she had to face William Trust again.

"Hello, Mr. Trust. I heard from my secretary that you want to talk to me. I thought that everything had been cleared after our meeting at noon. Is there something urgent I need to know?"
"Miss Carpenter, why didn't you tell me that you're under the Langfords!?" William Trust said out of anger.
Eve's mind slowed down for a second, "Pardon?"
"I was scolded harshly by my higher-up just now because I forced you to work on two ads without getting paid. Honor company is almost screwed because you didn't tell me earlier that you're connected to the Langfords!"

"I-I'm sorry, Sir. But I don't follow. What does Langford have to do with this?" Eve asked. "We had a deal, and I don't mind working on two ads for compensation."
