The monster's eyes moved at swift rates, eying the large crater meant to be dyed red with the blood and visceras of the crushed child.
But that child was nowhere to be found, disappearing into thin air without a single trace in sight.
So the question running through the sinister minds of each of the Scarlet Golem's three heads was simple.
Where was that very child?
The Golem's question was soon about to be answered, as right behind him—
Stood an eerily growing shadow, which rapidly shrouded him in its darkness.
It blocked the sanctum's lights from reaching all three of the beast's scowling faces, covering the monster in a dark murk.
With one swift turn, the Beast swiftly redirected his gaze towards his rear, his eyes widening in befuddlement as it observed Trick hover in the air just inches before him.
"What's wrong?"
A wide grin spread through Trick's face, his descent towards the ground starting to begin as he threw a jeering smirk at the Beast.
"Did I surprise you?"
