"Really..." Luke snorted coldly. He was never a saint, but he was not as kind-hearted as Daredevil.
Yoshioka Nobu, dressed in a ninja costume and wielding a samurai sword, rushed forward with sharp eyes. However, he only managed to get three steps away from Luke.
Draw the sword and slash!
In the darkness of the night, Yoshioka Nobu couldn't even see Luke swing his sword. Not to mention, the shadowless sword, Eleno, was nowhere to be found.
Luke quietly maintained the sword-wielding posture, trying to look cool.
"Clang!" Yoshioka Nobu's samurai sword shattered into two pieces and clattered to the ground.
"So fast..." Yoshioka Nobu muttered with difficulty as his body was cut cleanly in half from the waist to the abdomen. The upper and lower halves fell to the ground one after another.
Dark blood immediately pooled across the ground.
Luke sheathed his shadowless sword and stepped forward, pinching his nose as he rummaged through Yoshioka Nobu's belongings. A good habit for any time traveler—always loot the corpse after a fight.
However, after a long search, he found nothing except a bloodstained piece of paper.
Luke was speechless. Judging from the man's tone, he had high status within the Hand. He was at least a mid-tier boss, so why the hell was he so poor?
Stepping under the streetlamp, he examined the paper under its glow. It turned out to be a map, one that appeared to detail a certain district in New York.
"Huh?"
He let out a light exclamation, eyes narrowing as he focused on the center of the map.
Two words were scrawled in Chinese characters: Black Sky.
"Black Sky?" Luke raised an eyebrow.
Folding the map, he walked over to Daredevil and Spider-Man.
Spider-Man had landed and was helping Daredevil to his feet. The vigilante had sustained multiple sword wounds, including a deep piercing wound just below the shoulder blade from Yoshioka Nobu's sword. His condition was far from good.
Luke handed the Black Sky map to Daredevil. "You good to get home on your own?"
Daredevil nodded but remained silent.
He quietly watched as Luke hopped onto Spider-Man's back, and the two disappeared into the night, swinging between rooftops.
Daredevil sighed, glanced at the map Luke had given him, stuffed it into his pocket, and then limped away into the shadows of a dark alley.

A few days later, one evening…
Matt unexpectedly visited Luke's home, bringing Luke's adoptive father, Fudge, along.
Matt stayed for dinner.
As usual, he chatted with Fudge and Karen at the table, sometimes discussing their law firm, other times talking about everyday things. He even asked Luke about school and any interesting stories from his classes.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened—until Matt left.
In his second-floor bedroom, Luke stood by the window, watching Matt disappear down the street. His expression was thoughtful.
Matt was walking away, tapping his cane rhythmically. Tonight, he had confirmed Luke's identity.
The aura around Luke was exactly the same as the one he had sensed that night. His perception wouldn't lie.
But he hadn't confronted Luke.
After all, Matt had his own secrets to keep. Very few people knew he was Daredevil, and Luke's adoptive parents certainly weren't among them.
Little did Matt know, Luke was in the same position.
As he walked through the city, Matt felt a wave of emotions wash over him.
Now, everything made sense. Luke had secretly saved him—twice.
During the gang conflict, Matt had sensed a small figure inside a mech suit. But the battle had been too chaotic for him to investigate further. He had later assumed that the person inside had been an actual dwarf fighting against the gangs.
But now, it was clear: the so-called "dwarf" had been his little nephew in disguise.
It was both amusing and frustrating.
"...His methods are a bit extreme, though," Matt mused.
If he had the chance, he would try to talk to Luke, teach him that killing—even for justice—was not the answer.
His thoughts drifted to the talkative kid who had shot webs during the battle.
"Is he Luke's friend? Who would've thought Fudge and Karen would end up adopting such an extraordinary kid..."
Matt smirked slightly and quickened his pace toward his apartment.
Tonight, he planned to investigate the location marked on the map. The Black Sky lead was too important to ignore.

Somewhere deep underground in New York…
A naked man suddenly jolted awake, his body erupting from a blood-soaked pool.
His chest heaved violently, his wide eyes filled with terror and confusion.
For several seconds, he struggled to control his breathing. Slowly, the panic in his gaze faded, replaced by a chilling coldness.
"Uchiha Sasuke!"
The man climbed out of the blood pool, his voice trembling with rage.
Filthy blood dripped down his scarred body, cascading over the grotesque wound across his stomach. The wound had been sewn shut in a crude, monstrous manner, the stitches leaving an ugly, jagged scar across his front and back.
This man was Yoshioka Nobu.
Resurrected—again.
One of countless resurrections.
But this time, he had been defeated, humiliated by a swordsman far superior to him. It had been years since he had burned with such a desire for revenge.
No matter the cost, no matter the method—he would reclaim his honor.
Soon after, a high-value bounty was issued in every dark corner of New York's underworld.
From underground casinos to boxing rings, from gang hideouts to seedy nightclubs—everyone heard the name.
The masked "dwarf" from before…
The God of Gamblers from last time…
It turns out his real name was Uchiha Sasuke.
And his head was worth a staggering $10 million.
For that price, the entire criminal underworld began to stir once more.
---
Meanwhile…
Luke noticed something odd—Matt Murdock's favorability toward him had inexplicably jumped by over twenty points.
It had now reached 50.
That was the threshold. If it climbed any higher, Luke would be able to steal a skill from Daredevil.
Luke sat in thought for a long time, considering the possibilities.
Had the blind man figured out his identity?
Or was it something else?
His adoptive parents clearly remained in the dark, and nothing seemed out of place.
In the end, Luke shrugged off the mystery.
His gut had been uneasy for days now—an instinctual sense of impending doom.
"Could it be…"
A chilling thought crossed his mind.
If he was right…
The Battle of New York was coming.

Elsewhere…
A helicopter thundered across the night sky, racing toward a secret base.
Inside the base, alarms blared.
"Attention all personnel, the evacuation order has been confirmed. Report to your designated location immediately! I repeat—evacuate at once!"
The helicopter touched down on the tarmac.
Before it even fully landed, Agent Hill leaped out.
A moment later, Nick Fury stepped down, his long black trench coat billowing behind him.
Waiting for them was Coulson, who immediately strode forward.
"How bad is it?" Fury asked without preamble.
Coulson removed his sunglasses.
"The worst part is… we have no idea."
Without another word, they hurried into the base and descended deep underground.
Beneath this facility, the Tesseract was being studied.
Not long ago, the cosmic artifact—long dormant—had suddenly become active.
Recognizing the potential catastrophe, Nick Fury had come in person.
