Elisa looked at the graze on Lucia's legs and scoffed.
"Wow... it's so serious that there's not even a single drop of blood flowing. " She continued.
"Oh.. my gosh! If I come back a little later, I'm afraid your wound will heal completely, like a werewolf..."
"Elisa! You… you don't understand!" Lucia's Fernandez raised her voice in panic, feeling her heart tremble at Elisa's disdain.
"It's not like that! I just feel weak right now, and I can only recover faster with a blood transfusion!"
" Hmmp!"
Elisa's eyes narrowed, her voice turning icy.
"You get injured six or seven times a month. But I think you're just trying to drain my blood! " She paused then continued.
Tch tch tch..
"Too bad... you won't have this same opportunity in the future, unless you convince Miguel to marry another fool like me to be your walking blood bank."
With a final sneer, Elisa slammed the door of the ward behind her.
She sat on a bench in the corridor, the weight of the world pressing down on her.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she took out her phone, wept her tears, and then gathered the strength to make a call.
"Hello... big brother…"
Her voice was choked with fatigue.
"Where are you?" came the solid response. "We'll come and pick you up."
A short time later, two noble and elegant men, accompanied by a group of mysterious figures dressed in black, arrived and carried the unconscious woman out of the hospital, leaving quietly.
Meanwhile, Miguel dragged the attending doctor out of the ward, his dark eyes blazing with anger.
"A serious leg injury? Huh? Is blood needed for a mere graze? Is this the standard of professionalism in your hospital?"
He exuded a terrifying chill, the thought of Elisa's weakened state every time she donates blood gnawed at his conscience.
The doctor shuddered, and couldn't hid it anymore.
"It was Ms Fernandez's order. It has nothing to do with our hospital. Ms Fernandez said you agreed to the blood transfusions." he continued, "every time Ms Elisa donated blood , you were by her side, so we thought that we're following orders from you. but ... Mr Reynolds, we will never do it again."
Miguel felt a pang of guilt and uncertainty in his heart
"Lucia Fernandez...! did l pamper her so much? and.. Elisa insisted on a divorce because of that photo, did she misunderstand my relationship with lucia? "
Miguel thought that he would just explain it to her, although he never had much affection for his wife, he had always been faithful to his marriage and was satisfied with their status. Thus, he didn't mind living like this for the rest of his life.
Atleast , he had never thought of getting divorced ever since they got married.
If Elisa was not satisfied with his relationship with lucia, he would keep his distance from her.
Miguel thought that their marriage would be saved if they sort out this tinny problem.
He took out his phone to call Elisa, only to be met with silence. Her phone was turned off. Concern began to boil within him as he summoned his bodyguard.
"Find her," he commanded, his voice taut with urgency.
Minutes passed before the bodyguard returned, visibly shaken. "Mr. Reynolds, we can't find young Madam anywhere. The hospital's surveillance footage was hacked ten minutes ago. We have no clues as to her whereabouts."
But the thought of Elisa's abrupt departure made an irritable feeling that constantly haunted him more and more making him uncomfortable.
Miguel frowned deeper, his lips pressed into a thin line. when he thought back, Elisa didn't hesitate about the divorce, he felt indescribable emotions surging in his chest, his deep dark eyes seemed bottomless and inscrutable.
"What was she thinking? "Where can she go? She didn't have any money with her."
The thought of her leaving without a trace gnawed at him, an irritable unease clawing at his gut.
"Get someone to search for her and notify me immediately." She said.
Gritting his teeth he continued
"how dare she turned off her phone abruptly,"? she has stepped out of line."
" yes sir. "
Miguel didn't want to admit that he felt twinge of panic because of this woman who will nolonger be his wife by the end of one month.

The Dubai limited edition— luxury furniture in a lavishly decorated room was incredibly familiar to Elisa. as soon as she opened her eyes and saw the opulent room, she had not seen in a long time, her tears instantly streamed.
Memories flooded back as she gazed around the lavish room that felt both comforting and alien.
This adorned space belonged to her–her sanctuary, now cloaked in sadness. She felt the tears stream down her face.
"This...this is my room..."
"What are you crying for?" a mature voice boomed, commanding her attention. "It's just a normal divorce. Do you believe the Smith family can't support you?"
She looked up, her heart caught in her throat. Christopher Smith, the owner of the Smith Groups of campanies, stood imperiously before her. The man whose presence was a force unto itself filled the room with an undeniable authority.
"Father…"
