A part of Test wanted Lucifer to die, but the other part of him didn't want Lucifer to die at all, he wanted Lucifer to live. If it was the previous Test, he would have wished for Lucifer to die as soon as possible, but Test had changed, he wasn't like before anymore.
During the time he spent with Lucifer and Belial, the vampire experienced for the first time what it was like to have friends.
Test had always been a loner, he didn't have a supreme entity as a friend, and no supreme entity wanted to be friends with him.
But Lucifer was different. Even though Lucifer always made Test do unreasonable and difficult tasks, at least Lucifer let him experience what it was like to have friends.
Test had to admit that being with Lucifer and Belial was quite fun and entertaining.
