Inside the Dust Valley Sect, the sect master had just completed his daily meeting with the Supreme Elder when his Spirit Link vibrated.
He furrowed his brows and took out his Spirit Link, glancing at the new message. He wondered who would send him a message.
Apart from a few elders, his wife, and his son, he didn't share his contact with anyone else.
Still, he opened the message and saw that it was from his son. As he read, a deep frown appeared on his face.
"What is he up to this time?" he muttered, though a look of expectation flashed through his eyes.
Without hesitation, he left the grand hall and went to see his wife.
"Did you receive a message from Jian'er?" his wife asked as he entered the villa.
"Yes." He nodded and asked, "What do you think he's up to this time?"
"I don't know, but we'll find out. Do you still remember his promise?" Her eyes gleamed with anticipation.
