Nicole's pov~
We soared through the sky. It was a new experience for me, it felt amazing. I did not know it was possible for man to be able to fly. But here I was, flying.
The king sat closely behind me on the dragon's back and I held its neck as tightly as I could to avoid falling off. My heart pounded, not out of fear but out of pure excitement and exhilaration.
This was unlike anything I had ever experienced. It was like a breath of fresh air, a most welcomed and long overdue one.
I laughed. I felt free, I felt like I was on top of the world. For the first time since I had landed in this god forsaken island, I was truly happy.
The dragon let out a deep growl, as if asking for my validation. I stole its neck gently and whispered, "thank you."
"I am glad you like the view and the feeling." Someone said from behind me.
