The massacre went on for a while. No matter what I did, the dragons countered. I was not in the right head space, everything had happened too quickly so I could not think of how to stop the dragons. The ease I had used to take them down before seemed like a dream.
I was too shocked to think straight and too shaky to do anything right.
Pei was already crying, there was no way anyone would have survived that attack. It was safe to say the entire village was dead.
Probably not Kashar, since he had a fire proof body, but I was not certain exactly how fire proof it was. If I could just find him, or what was left of him.
The dragons did not let us get closer to the ground as they burned everything that crossed their paths.
