The Grimknights traveled at a slow, steady pace, allowing themselves some time to regain their energy. The thick canopy of trees overhead cast shifting shadows along the dirt path as a gentle breeze rustled the leaves. Despite the weight of the past few days, the group found themselves basking in the peacefulness of the journey.
Bjorn, riding at the back of the group, extended a calloused hand. A delicate butterfly, its wings a dazzling shade of blue, fluttered down and landed gently on his fingers. He stared at it like a child witnessing a miracle, his usually hardened face softened with fascination. Mariposa, riding beside him, noticed and smiled.
"You look so enchanted, Bjorn. Did you just now discover what a butterfly is?" she teased.
Bjorn chuckled, shaking his head, he didn't muttered a word and just watching as the butterfly took off into the sky.
