Chapter 1 - Prologue: So, I Got Isekai’d by a Cosmic Gacha Roll

Waking up in a swirling void of cosmic energy wasn't on my to-do list.

I had things to do, like ignoring my university assignments, rewatching Marvel movies, and eating junk food in bed. But apparently, the universe had other plans, because here I was—floating in the middle of literal nothingness, questioning all my life choices.

"…If this is some kind of existential dream, I'd like to wake up now," I muttered.

Then, a deep, booming voice filled the void.

"Welcome, mortal."

I turned and came face-to-face with a god-tier cosmic being—a giant swirling mass of galaxies, stars, and glowing eyes.

"…Oh, you've got to be kidding me," I muttered. "You're a R.O.B., aren't you?"

The entity chuckled, its form shifting slightly. "Ah, you're familiar with the concept? Good. Saves me time explaining."

I crossed my arms. "Lemme guess—you're throwing me into a multiverse adventure and giving me some kind of cheat ability?"

"Exactly."

I groaned. "Why? Why me?"

"Random chance," the R.O.B. said cheerfully. "I spun a cosmic wheel, and your name came up."

"…My entire existence was decided by a gacha roll?"

"Correct."

"…Can I get a reroll?"

"No."

I sighed. "Fine. What's my 'power,' then?"

The R.O.B. snapped its fingers, and a blue holographic screen popped up.

Congratulations! You have been selected as the Administrator of the Multiversal Chat Group!

You are now responsible for managing connections between different universes, assisting individuals in cross-reality situations, and ensuring the balance of the multiverse.

Have fun!

I squinted at the text. "…You're making me a multiversal tech support admin?"

"Yes."

"…I'm suing."

The R.O.B. ignored me and waved its cosmic hand. Another system screen appeared.

[Administrator Privileges Unlocked!]

Would you like to activate the Template System?

I frowned. "Template System?"

"Since you are… let's be honest, weak as hell, I'm giving you a tool that lets you copy skills and abilities from existing characters."

"…How strong are we talking?"

"You start at 1% synchronization with whoever you choose. Progression is earned through experience, training, and missions."

"So no instant OP cheat?"

"Nope. You have to work for it."

I sighed. "At least that makes things fair."

A selection screen appeared.

Choose Your First Template:

• Ezio Auditore (Assassin's Creed) [Stealth, Parkour, Combat]

• Ghost Rider (Zarathos) [Hellfire, Penance Stare]

• Dante (Devil May Cry) [Demonic Regeneration, Swordsmanship]

• Makima (Chainsaw Man) [Domination, Control, Manipulation]

I stared at the last option. Then at the R.O.B.

"…Did you put Makima here just to mess with me?"

"Absolutely."

"…I hate you."

"You will hate me more soon enough."

"…Can I at least refuse all of this?"

The R.O.B. snapped its fingers, and suddenly, a portal opened—showing a universe where everything was on fire, sirens were blaring, and eldritch horrors were attacking skyscrapers.

"You could live here instead."

I immediately pressed the "Accept" button.

[Template System Activated!]

[Multiversal Chat Group Online!]

I sighed. "I already regret this, don't I?"

"Absolutely."

And just like that, my life as the Multiversal Chat Group Administrator officially began.
