Chapter 235 - Chapter 235: Entei Appears

"Mismagius, counterattack with Dazzling Gleam!" Morty ordered.

Mismagius counterattacked with a dazzling light all over its body, but Dazzling Gleam was suppressed by Stone Edge.

In terms of skills, even Gengar was not a rival to Tyranitar, let alone Mismagius.

However, at this moment, Tyranitar's face suddenly became solemn, and the stone blades it created instantly dissipated.

It was the Curse that was activated, which directly drained a part of Tyranitar's physical strength.

With just a slight delay, Dazzling Gleam repelled the stone blades and shone on Tyranitar, making it look pained.

But the next second, Tyranitar sprayed Dark Pulse backhand.

Boom!!

Mismagius was unable to dodge and was hit by Dark Pulse, but it was only one hit, which would not cause Mismagius to fall. After all, it would be useless for a quasi-elite Pokémon to be knocked out in one hit.

"Mismagius, hold on! Tyranitar has been hit by Curse and will soon be weakened," Morty encouraged.

"Dream!"

Mismagius nodded, and the energy in its body was released, covering itself. It must defeat Tyranitar.

However, even if Mismagius could win, it was only by relying on Curse to wear down Tyranitar's physical strength. Even so, after Tyranitar falls, Gary still has the two remaining Pokémon.

"Tyranitar, attack with all your strength! Stone Edge!" Gary ordered.

"Roar!!"

Tyranitar raised its foot and stomped the ground, causing stones to erupt from the earth and extend towards Mismagius. Mismagius immediately took off to avoid it.

"Do you think you can escape like this?" Gary sneered.

Tyranitar turned around and swung its tail, smashing the stone pillar in front of it.

The broken stones flew quickly towards Mismagius, who was soaring in the sky, and hit it unexpectedly.

"What!" Morty didn't expect Tyranitar to attack in this way.

"Dark Pulse!"

Tyranitar unleashed Dark Pulse towards the falling Mismagius, and Dark Pulse quickly rushed towards it.

"Use Shadow Ball to counterattack!" Morty commanded.

At this time, it was too late to use Dazzling Gleam. Only by using this skill could Mismagius attack faster.

Mismagius immediately condensed a Shadow Ball to counterattack.

Obviously, Shadow Ball was not inferior to Dark Pulse.

It exploded directly after the collision, and the impact of the explosion sent Mismagius several meters away.

Tyranitar was like a monster, constantly chasing Mismagius with Dark Pulse.

Mismagius could only dodge, but this could not determine the winner.

Even Gengar's Curse no longer affected Tyranitar. Pain and weakness would only make Tyranitar more enraged.

Once Tyranitar entered a rage state, it would not feel pain or weakness. It would only lose consciousness when it was exhausted.

The violent Tyranitar thoroughly implemented the name of the tyrant.

The endless Dark Pulse battered Mismagius without any resistance.

In the end, it was defeated by Tyranitar's Stone Edge due to lack of physical strength.

"Mismagius lost its ability to fight Tyranitar won!" Eusine announced. "Gym Leader Morty's Pokémon have all been defeated, and the winner is challenger Gary."

Even after the battle, Tyranitar was still not exhausted by the Curse and still had the strength to fight.

"Good performance, come back and rest." Gary quickly recalled Tyranitar into its Poké Ball. As long as it enters the Poké Ball, the Curse caused by the spell will disappear.

"Gary, your strength is really beyond my expectations. This is the Phantom Badge, proof of defeating the Ecruteak Gym." After the battle, Morty handed his Badge to Gary.

"Thank you."

Gary immediately took the badge.

[Ding! Mission completed rewards have been sent to the space backpack.]

"Gastly! Gastly!!"

At this time, Gastly suddenly appeared beside Gary. It had been there all along but had become invisible.

Gastly was also very happy to see Gary win. It seemed that the Trainer it recognized not only had magical abilities but also outstanding strength.

Morty saw Gastly's happy look and realized that Gastly recognized Gary, feeling a little disappointed.

After all, this Gastly was born in the gym and had been raised by Morty since it was a Pokémon egg. As a result, it was conquered by someone else in just one night. This was too fast.

"Um... can you tell me about Suicune?" Eusine came over and asked.

Eusine came here this time because he heard Morty mention that there was a photo of Suicune and rushed here overnight.

After learning that Gary was an eyewitness, he had many questions to ask Gary.

"Okay, but you have to go to the Pokémon Center to treat your Pokémon first," Gary said.

"Okay, no problem."

The three of them left the Ecruteak Gym and went to the Pokémon Center.

After handing the injured Pokémon to Nurse Joy, the three of them chatted about Suicune in the room.

Gary knew a lot about Suicune, even more than Eusine, but Gary would definitely not reveal too much information about Suicune.

Eusine did not interrogate him but only asked Gary about Suicune's appearance. Even so, Eusine questioned him for nearly two hours.

"By the way, Gary, your grandfather is Professor Oak. Does he have any research on the Ho-Oh Guards?" Eusine asked the questions he wanted to ask and then began to inquire about Professor Oak's research.

"I don't know about that. My grandfather has always kept his research on Legendary Pokémon confidential," Gary responded.

Eusine was very persistent and wanted to get Professor Oak's research data. How could Gary tell him such a thing?

"Really? It seems that I can only visit Professor Oak in person when I have time," Eusine said.

"If it's to discuss Pokémon research, my grandfather should be very happy," Gary said.

Although Eusine wanted to capture Legendary Pokémon, he was not a bad person by nature he just wanted to understand Legendary Pokémon.

"By the way, I met Entei outside Goldenrod City before, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo at that time," Gary suddenly said.

"What! Entei!"

"You actually saw Entei?"

Eusine and Morty were both surprised.

"Are you so surprised?" Gary asked.

Gary didn't know the whereabouts of the Ho-Oh Guards, but Eusine and Morty did.

The three Legendary Beasts rarely appear in places where humans often go.

The most sighted of the three is Suicune, followed by Raikou, and the one with the most erratic whereabouts is Entei.

And in the Ho-Oh Guards, Entei is the main leader, and its status is one level higher than Suicune and Raikou.

"Gary, Entei has a superior status in the Ho-Oh Guards, and its whereabouts are the most erratic. It can be said that you are very fortunate to meet Entei," Eusine said.

Eusine has been chasing the Ho-Oh Guards for many years and has only seen Suicune and Raikou so far, but has not yet seen Entei.

Gary was fortunate he came to the Johto Region to travel, went to the gym along the way, and met two Legendary Pokémon at once.
