I sighed, cracking my eyes open, swiftly shut them and buried my head in Nexus' chest as the sun burned directly on my face.
I hissed and tried to tug my hand, stopping when I realised I was holding Devon's hand. I smiled and turned towards him. He opened his eyes and smiled at me shyly, the tips of his ears turning red.
"I'll run you a bath and make you a drink. I'm sorry, I tried not to lose control, but I-" I pressed my lips to his to shut him up and broke away with a smirk.
"My recovery is very high," I murmured, smiling brightly as Nexus stirred and rolled to press himself against my back, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"That is very lucky because you not being able to walk in your mom's place is going to look bad on me," he laughed into my neck and then let out a sharp groan.
"What was that sound for?" I laughed, frowning at Devon as he lifted onto his elbow and moved my hair away.
