"Where the fuck have you been slutting it?" I scowled at Molly as she skipped next to Ren, her eyes flickering to him and next to me to my sister, "Swap with me," I got up at the speed of light and glided around my sister's chair to get to Molly before she had fully sat down.
She jerked and stared up at me with wide eyes as I dragged her by her elbow and pushed her over to my sister with a sneer. I dropped beside Ren and turned to him, my hand immediately taking his and my whispers low.
"I saw the news," I murmured with shifting wide eyes, "can't say it happened to nicer people," I spoke normally, flinching when the kitchen door opened next to me and my stepdad dropped into the seat at the head of the table by me.
