Suddenly, Yang Tao remembered that he hadn't had a chance to check on Suicune after catching it earlier because Haku had interrupted him.
He released Suicune and watched as it stood gracefully in the moonlight, its elegant form making his eyes shine with admiration.
He climbed onto Suicune's back and rode it as it ran.
"This feels amazing!"
Yang Tao couldn't help but exclaim. The sensation was completely different from flying.
Just like that, he rode Suicune across the land, searching for Poké Ball treasure chests.
The night passed quickly.
Yang Tao's haul was incredible!
He had gathered a ton of supplies, including various held items, potions, and even a Master Ball!
"Another Master Ball! Another legendary Pokémon is calling my name! Let's see which one appears this time!"
When he got home, he noticed Zabuza and Haku still busy building their house. He chuckled but didn't bother them.
After sorting through his inventory, he organized everything into chests.
"Ugh! I'm running out of storage again! If only I had a storage mod!"
Looking at his ever-expanding warehouse, he felt a headache coming on. Even though he had labeled every chest, he wasn't good at remembering things, so finding specific items was still a struggle.
"If I could get an AE storage system, that would be perfect! Or even just a bigger chest!" Yang Tao prayed that the next mod would be something useful.
The problem was, he had no idea how to unlock the next mod.
He had already caught a legendary Pokémon, even if it was only a second-tier one.
He had captured plenty of regular Pokémon too.
Could it be… that he had to complete the entire Pokédex?
"I guess I'll collect all the plates and try summoning Arceus. Maybe I need to catch it first?" Yang Tao thought as he lounged on the couch, snacking.
Feeling bored, he opened the chat group.
"Is there a lonely girl in the chat?"
As the only female member of the group, Zhang Wenjing immediately responded.
"Oh? Does our group leader want to take advantage of me?"
"*Cough cough!* Let's talk about that when you grow up!"
Ren Fa: "So, you're raising her?"
Yang Tao: "…You really don't know how to phrase things properly!"
[Ren Fa has been muted by the group leader for 10 seconds!]
Ten seconds passed quickly.
Ren Fa: "I didn't know you could mute people, group leader. I'm shaking in fear!"
Right after that, a bunch of other members started copying him.
Zhang Wenjing: "I'm shaking in fear!"
Ash: "Shivering!"
Whitebeard: "Shivering!"
...
Yang Tao joined in: "Shaking with excitement!"
"Alright, enough messing around! Wenjing, aren't you supposed to be in school?" Each world had a different flow of time, and only after he built a portal there would they sync up. That's why he hadn't visited Zhang Wenjing's world yet.
Zhang Wenjing was feeling a little frustrated. She had been thrown straight into this world before she was even born, so there wasn't much she could do about it. But she wasn't really looking forward to the Harry Potter storyline playing out. This was her new life, after all—it had nothing to do with the original story. The plot was just a fun little part of her daily life.
"Not yet! But soon. In a few months, I'll turn twelve, and I should get my admission letter then!"
"Great! Let me know when you get it. I want to check out Hogwarts' magic statues and see if I can bring one back to use as a decoration!" Yang Tao still remembered how cool it looked when the vice principal activated them.
After chatting in the group for a while, Yang Tao finally stood up, getting ready to head to the Nether.
He had been using a lot of potions lately, and he had also given a bunch to his group members, so now he was running low on blaze powder.
And since the flying mobs made it impossible to build an automated farm, he had no choice but to gather materials manually.
Last time, when he was farming in the Nether, it was incredibly boring. The scenery never changed—just endless red, no day or night. After staring at it for too long, it became exhausting.
But now that he was low on supplies, he had no choice but to go back.
As soon as he stepped outside, he saw that Zabuza had already finished building his house. It was a classic Japanese-style home—small but well-crafted.
Yang Tao glanced back at his own house, nodded in satisfaction, and thought, "Yep, mine is way more impressive!"
Wait a second! Why should I do this boring task myself when I have a helper?
With that thought, Yang Tao walked up to Zabuza with a big smile.
"Hey, Zabuza, let's talk about something!"
