After successfully capturing Al-Zeus, the system, which had been silent for a long time, suddenly exploded with notifications.
Detected an alternate dimension! The world has changed! [Eternal Night Descends!]
Congratulations! You have unlocked the Twilight Forest mod!
Congratulations! You have unlocked the Tinkers' Construct mod!
Congratulations! You have unlocked the Ex Nihilo mod!
Congratulations! You have unlocked more enchantments!
Yang Tao checked the newly unlocked mods. Just as he expected, capturing Al-Zeus had triggered their appearance.
Twilight Forest was filled with challenging bosses, and with Tinkers' Construct, he could finally upgrade his weapons!
The Nano Sword was powerful in other worlds, but in Minecraft, it was severely nerfed—its base damage was too low.
Ex Nihilo was a must-have for any Skyblock player, and Yang Tao was no exception.
With just a sapling, a bucket of water, and a bucket of lava, he could rebuild an entire world.
Even in a normal survival world, Ex Nihilo was incredibly useful to him. Now, he could truly achieve infinite resources.
By combining it with a Tinkers' Smeltery and an Industrial Grinder, he had essentially unlocked unlimited ores!
Yang Tao was more than satisfied with these mods—they were exactly what he needed at this stage.
"Alright! Let's go home!" he said, feeling content as he prepared to leave with his two companions.
---
Just then, he spotted a Mewtwo boss wandering in the distance, casually pacing back and forth.
Yang Tao's eyes lit up. "Well, well… You ignored the easy path to heaven, yet you come knocking on hell's door yourself!"
Seeing the level 80 Mewtwo in front of him, Yang Tao's thirst for revenge flared up.
After days of battle experience, his skills had improved dramatically. A legendary boss like this was no longer a problem.
"Go, Hoopa!"
He sent out his Unbound Hoopa. Since Hoopa was both Psychic and Dark type, it had a huge advantage over the pure Psychic-type Mewtwo.
Before long, Mewtwo's HP was completely drained.
Yang Tao looked at the loot it dropped and suddenly froze.
A Draco Plate.
A Heaven's Flute.
What the heck was going on?!
This was a thing?!
He had spent so much time collecting all the Plates, nearly losing his mind searching for the Golden Cup—
And now, they were just… right here?!
Yang Tao could feel the world mocking him.
Completely drained of energy, he slumped to the ground in despair.
White, being the only girl in the group, immediately picked up on his mood and walked over. "Master, what's wrong? What happened?"
Yang Tao silently pulled out the Heaven's Flute and a Master Ball, handing them to White.
"White, go summon another Al-Zeus for me. Capture it in my place."
White nodded, took the items, and flew toward the altar.
Having already seen Yang Tao perform the summoning once, she confidently played the Heaven's Flute again.
The clear, melodic sound echoed through the air once more.
Yang Tao was still doubting himself. What had he been doing for the past three days? Looking at the fully collected set of stone slabs in his backpack again, he could only sigh, "Is this what they call the ups and downs of life?"
Before long, Haku rushed back and handed Yang Tao two Master Balls.
???
Yang Tao was confused. What was going on? He gave Haku one Poké Ball, and now there were two? Was Haku some kind of legendary river god?
"Sir, I found this Pokémon while searching for the altar. I caught it with a Poké Ball I picked up on the way and brought it back for you!"
Goodness! Yang Tao was speechless. Haku had just casually found a Master Ball? And he wasn't even looking for one! That kind of luck was insane.
Curious, Yang Tao asked, "What Pokémon did you catch?" He wanted to know what kind of Pokémon Haku had thought was worth bringing back for him.
Haku replied, "It's a Pokémon with a flaming tail! I think it's called Charmander!"
Haku had finally realized that the names displayed above the Pokémon were their actual names.
Charmander? Not bad! When it evolves into Charizard, it'll be really cool. Plus, as one of the starter Pokémon, it has a lot of status.
Haku added, "The main reason I caught this Pokémon was because its color is the same as your other Pokémon—it's golden! I thought you'd like it, so I brought it back for you!"
My other Pokémon? Oddish? Color?
Yang Tao suddenly pulled out the Poké Ball Haku had handed him and released the Charmander inside. Seeing the golden, shiny Charmander, if Zabuza hadn't been standing nearby, Yang Tao would have spun Haku around in excitement. Instead, he settled for picking up the golden Charmander and spinning it around twice.
"Thanks a lot, Haku! I really love it!"
Haku smiled calmly. "As long as you like it, sir! Oh, and the Pokémon we summoned at the altar earlier also had a different color than usual."
Hearing that, Yang Tao clutched his chest.
"Could it be…?"
