As Noah stepped into the meeting room, the atmosphere shifted.
The room, filled with government officials, guild representatives, and high-ranking awakened elites, suddenly became stiff with tension.
Conversations that had once been animated died down into cautious whispers, and several individuals subtly adjusted their seating positions, as if bracing themselves.
'This feels so uncomfortable. I wish I had Nora with me…not that I need her. I am perfectly capable of handling this pressure on my own.'

His heart did skip a beat when he noticed Selene's presence in the room as well. She was sitting at the other end of the room, and she looked far more comfortable and attentive compared to him.
