'Ah, am I back here again? I feel like this place is becoming familiar to me. How long have I been floating here this time?'
Nothing around Selene made sense, and yet, she could instinctively feel where she was and what she needed to do.
Selene felt the air grow cold around her as she tried to move.
The darkness pressed in around her. Then, the shadows parted, and the familiar eye appeared.
It floated in the void, its glowing iris swirling with colors that bled into each other.
Selene's heart pounded in her ears. Her breath caught in her throat.
'Not again.'
She knew she was dreaming. But this dream was different.
It felt too real.
Her instincts screamed danger, and every nerve in her body told her that this eye was bad news.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't remember what this thing was or why it kept haunting her.
"Who are you? No…what are you? Are you the one who lend me your authority?"
Selene asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
