As I looked around I realised that I would never have called this a guest room, the whole place screamed cage, and it was bigger than the one Shield had designed for the Hulk. Not counting a lot of runes that I simply did not understand yet and in the combination of which it takes a long time to understand, I found in the corners of the room rods, which in case of a command from their manager will throw the entire room into a mirror dimension, but it will disarm only ninety per cent of those present, but the domain runes of the magician pumped to the brim and forbidding in this room to sorcery to anyone present except the magician who installed them, will work in the wake and disarm all the rest. After that you can organise any fight, or in the laziest case just leave people in the room to die. At best, a mutant with portal powers like Ulyana or Wanda will escape from such a trap simply because of the nature of their powers, but most people won't be able to cope quickly and will simply die of dehydration. And that's not all the defence, there's probably some attacking stuff in there too, just to keep the guests happy. Now I understand how they make sure all the guests are fully protected. Everyone's in the same position, a deep arsehole position. And in this situation it doesn't matter who you are on the outside, because on the inside you are one of many.

Looking around the room I even missed the start of the auction, and to be honest Natasha would have told me when the disc would be on display, but a familiar dagger with a skull caught my eye. Looking at it in me for a moment, there was a desire to fail the mission and spit on the given level of access and the possibility of losing it because of understanding who this thing belongs to and that it should not be on Earth. It was the dagger I'd last seen on Nightmare's belt the last time we'd met. And seeing his item back on Earth gives me a bad feeling.

Thankfully the rest of the auction went smoothly and I made a note to alert the Ancient of Days about it. When the turn came to the disc five people entered the bidding and three of them were from the VIP rooms. The bidding started at five million and the price quickly climbed to twenty-five million, deciding to scare off the majority I doubled the bid and now the disc was worth fifty million. After that there were only three bidders. In fact, this is already quite a high price for the disc because the information on it has been tested only superficially and its effectiveness has been confirmed, but how effective it is no one knows. Therefore, not many people are ready to throw away such a sum for incomprehensible ready-made studies. Room number five raised the price by five million, but if I let the three of them enter the game, it could take a long time and increasing the price a little bit at a time could exceed my maximum, so I took the risk and raised the price to one hundred million. This immediately struck most of the people in the room because they already considered the price of fifty million too high. The other rooms did not raise the price and Nat and I just had to wait until the end of the auction to get the lot.

When we got to the place where we were going to receive the lot, we met a lot of people, but most of them glanced at me and stuck their eyes on Natasha. This auction doesn't maintain secrecy of identity for buyers and only the strongest reigns supreme. Enough money to buy the item? Good, now save it and then when you come back here again, you'll get some respect in the eyes of the people here.

After taking the disc, we left and headed for the portal. After exiting, we followed the plan to split up to follow the exits and search for Masterson, who was supposed to get the money for his lot.

After splitting up, I only had time to step back into the next room before a fist flew into my back. Because of the music and many people around me, I didn't have time to react and noticed the attack too late. The blow itself was quite strong and would have broken the backbone of a normal person. As I stood up, I saw a man with a military appearance, who had stripped off the top of his suit and was wearing only a shirt.

-Are you okay? So there really are mostly other superhumans here. - The man said, craning his neck.

-So? -Pierce asked, getting ready for the fight and checking his phone in case Nat called. She, unlike him, couldn't handle the force of the blow.

-Do you just give me the disc and I'll leave quietly, huh? - The man asked hopefully.

-So you want the disc? Then won't you enlighten me who you work for? - Asked Rain slowly approaching the enemy.

-Then no. Well, I didn't expect anything else. - Said the man then lunged forward towards Pierce, swinging for a punch.

Launch Next Level by Mountains vs. Machines.

After his throw, I shifted to the left and threw a series of punches to the body that felt like it broke a couple of ribs. I then reversed my hand and clawed my claws through his knee on the back side. Backing away from the defeated, swearing foe, I cancelled the transformation and walked over for clarification of the situation. As I approached, I noticed a glow from under the man's shirt and then I had to dodge a kick from his pierced leg.

-It still hurts, you bastard. What kind of bitch are you, huh? Now I'll have to walk around naked again. - With anger and indignation said the man, rising up and beginning to glow from within, and his clothes began to slowly decay.

Seeing his new appearance I had a flicker of recognition on the edge of my consciousness, but pushing away the unnecessary thoughts I rushed into the fight. I noticed a glow appearing in the places where I struck, and then the wounds were gone and he continued the fight calmly. At one point in the fight, I just grabbed both of his arms and started to force him down. He went into a rage and started glowing several times more actively. His body was burning hot and the floor beneath him was melting. I simply surrounded myself with protection, and unlike his almost completely decayed suit, which at this point retained only a tie and pants, I was in a new dinner jacket, which seemed to me to encourage the soldier's rage even more. When I had almost crushed him he shouted furiously and opened his mouth and blew a wave of flame into my face. At that moment I was a little confused, and luckily the shield was put up long ago, or I might not have had time to react.

-What the $@%&*# are you?! - The man asked angrily, not understanding how he was so easily suppressed.

-And this is coming from a man breathing fire from his mouth? - Raising his right eyebrow, Pierce asked with a sharp jerk of his arms and jumped up to break the chest of the body falling backwards with his knees. Rain then turned his hands and with a slight change in claw structure sliced off both of the man's arms, then without stopping he used a couple of runes that he had carved in the place of the regenerated arm. This action prevented the regeneration from going as planned and the hands stopped regenerating. Except that Rain didn't foresee the consequences of his actions. The serum applied to the soldier receiving signals of trauma and unable to heal it produced more and more energy, which due to the impossibility of output can only lead to one thing...boom.

-What? - Pierce only managed to ask before his enemy's body was completely overwhelmed by the light and he was slammed into the opposite wall of the hall with all his might.

Climbing out and commending myself for my foresight and the disc vault for its sturdiness I headed off in search of Nat. Listening to the now nearly empty club, I could quietly hear the sounds of thumping from the east side of the building. When I arrived, I found Natasha fighting with a man in a white coat with military gear and a skull mask. They fought rather strangely, as if they had been taught by the same man.

-Rain carefully, he's copying the enemy's fighting style. - The Widow shouted, noticing Pierce and missing a couple of punches.

-Got it. - Pierce replied, approaching his opponent. He realised almost immediately who was in front of him, but after Romanof's words he was sure that they had met Tuskmaster. To avoid wasting time Rain simply decided to do something that would devalue the strength of this opponent. With his acceleration switched on, he flew at top speed towards the enemy and before he could react, the man received a series of extremely painful and traumatising blows from Pierce, who had forgotten to hold back against an ordinary man. If it wasn't for the protection Tuskmaster was wearing, he would have gone after Pierce's past enemy right at that moment, but fortunately or unfortunately he survived and his body was carried to the wall where he lay a broken puppet.

-Too much. - Rain concluded, looking at his opponent. Rain remembered that Tuxmaster had fought Captain America on equal terms, but that was more because of his multiple styles and understanding of the weaknesses of his enemy's fighting style, and Steve was a dozen heads above the soldier in terms of pure strength.

-Is he even alive? - With doubt asked Romanof approached the body of the enemy. Removing his mask she was surprised and checked his pulse with relief to confirm his presence in this world.

-You could say we were lucky, look at the one who came into our hands. - Natasha pulled back the hood of the Tuxmaster and showed Pierce Tony Masterson's face.

-How did you have a fight in the first place? - Pierce asked.

-He recognised me and wanted revenge on the shield for something, and my death seemed like a good place to start. Well, let's take him and go, or he won't last that long. - Said Romanoff.

After arriving at the meeting place and giving Masterson all the help I could I opened YouTube and the first thing that caught my eye was the first position of the recommendations showing the footage of firefighters, police and ambulances surrounding the destroyed Stark house. Watching the video I realised that even without the injury Tony still couldn't help himself and gave his address to the fake Mandarin. Using a secure channel, I called Pepper to explain the situation.
