Li Jing sank to the bottom of the river, letting mud, sand, and water grasses twine and cover him.
The nearby fish and turtles, too, were not afraid of him, constantly shuttling beside him, with river shrimp even nesting on his body.
Towards these palm-sized fish and shrimp, Li Jing showed a Buddhistic nature; he neither drove them away nor swallowed them. His physical body now was not as frail as when he first crossed over. These fishes and turtles were simply not enough to satisfy his hunger.
However, he was somewhat concerned that the growth of his physical body was too rapid. With this rate of growth, this hundred-mile river course could hardly provide him with enough food.
But everything outside was unknown; could there be even fiercer Demon Beasts?
