Chapter 113 - Chapter 112: The World's Turmoil

Pamela rested her chin on her hand, a playful smile dancing across her delicate face.

"Venom sister, I'm starting to like them. Our home will be quite lively in the future."

"Don't worry, my dear. Neither of those sisters will escape."

Venom licked her lips, her gaze fixed on Jean and the Dark Phoenix as they played on the beach, like a predator eyeing its prey.

Pamela blushed slightly at Venom's expression. Turning her head, she looked at Gwen, who had buried her face in her arms, leaving only her red ears visible—an undeniable sign of her shyness and confusion.

"Gwen, what's wrong?"

Gwen raised her head shyly and murmured, "That idiot... who rubs sunscreen on someone's legs for that long?"

Thinking about those hands continuously caressing and kneading her thighs, her face grew hotter, her expression a mix of annoyance and secret delight.

"Well, that just means our dear really likes your legs. Let me touch them too." Pamela teased as she reached out.

"Pamela, stop it!" Gwen cried out coquettishly, quickly drawing her legs back and covering them with her hands. Her reaction was both shy and adorably flustered.

At that moment, a group of little ones came running up from the beach.

"Godfather, we found someone in the sea!"

While Keno and the others enjoyed their vacation, the outside world had plunged into chaos.

Hellfire Club

The Hellfire Club—a secret organization with a long and storied history. Its members were elite figures of society, including many mutants who subtly influenced global politics and economics from the shadows.

White Queen sat elegantly on a sofa, her demeanor calm and composed as if the combined forces of the Brotherhood and the X-Men surrounding the club posed no threat to her. Behind her, the other mutants of the Hellfire Club stood tensely, their nerves on edge.

"Magneto, it's been a long time," White Queen drawled lazily. "What brings you to our club with such a grand display of power?"

"The king of mutants has risen," Erik declared, his tone cold and unwavering. "All mutants must bow before him."

"Oh? And where is this so-called king?" she asked with faint amusement.

"The king has more pressing matters. Your only task is to submit."

White Queen's eyes narrowed slightly at the sheer arrogance. When the Black King sought to expand their influence, he had personally invited new members. Yet now, the supposed mutant king couldn't even be bothered to appear.

"And if I refuse?" she asked coolly.

"We'll knock you unconscious and take you anyway," Erik said without a hint of patience.

"Magneto, you underestimate the Hellfire Club. Sunspot!" White Queen barked, suddenly leaning forward.

A man with blazing flames erupting from his body stepped forward, transforming into a being of living fire.

"Burn!" Sunspot roared, thrusting his hands forward. A blazing column of fire, three meters wide, shot toward Magneto, distorting the air with its intense heat.

White Queen smirked coldly. She wanted to see how Magneto would evade such an attack at this range. While Sunspot wasn't an Omega-level mutant, his flames could reach temperatures up to 3,000 degrees—enough to melt steel.

Yet, to her shock, the fire twisted in mid-air and was effortlessly absorbed into a figure's palm.

"Sunspot, what are you doing?!" White Queen shouted angrily.

"I... I can't control it!" Sunspot gasped, struggling desperately to stop the flow of power, but the flames continued to drain from him uncontrollably.

With a dull thud, Sunspot collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

In a single move, the Hellfire Club had lost one of its strongest fighters.

"Good work, Pyro," Erik praised, his tone satisfied.

The Brotherhood and X-Men members exchanged approving glances.

Pyro wiped his nose with a smirk, pride swelling in his chest. Getting permission to join this mission had been the right choice.

White Queen remained silent for a long moment. With her strongest fighter down, her options were limited.

"Can we talk this over?" Her voice held a rare trace of pleading.

"Knock them out. Take them all," Erik ordered bluntly.

"Oh, finally!" The Brotherhood and X-Men, already itching for action, surged forward like a tidal wave.

Alkali Lake Facility

In a heavily guarded military base, Colonel Stryker stood in his office, his face twisted with fury as he shredded a letter in his hands.

"The president has lost his mind! Releasing mutants—when my Weapon X project is nearly complete? This can't be happening!" he roared, veins bulging from his forehead as bloodshot eyes burned with rage.

Slamming his hand onto the phone, he began calling every influential contact he had, searching for a way to halt this madness.

"Sorry, Colonel. I can't help you," came one rejection after another.

Finally, one high-ranking officer explained in a low, cautious voice: "Give it up. The Demon King personally visited the president late at night."

Hearing this, Stryker's face grew even darker, his knuckles turning white from how tightly he gripped the receiver.

Seething with anger, Stryker called upon fellow military officials who shared his hatred for mutants.

"The president has been corrupted by the devil. Releasing mutants is the first step toward humanity's destruction," he spat venomously.

"But acting now could land us in a military tribunal," one officer hesitated.

"Do you want to watch this nation fall to mutant scum?!" Stryker bellowed. "Answer me, Lieutenant General Nathan!"

"Never! This country belongs to humanity!" Nathan's voice came through the receiver, filled with fanatical hatred.

"Good. The Demon King has left the country for now. You know what to do," Stryker instructed coldly.

"Understood. This world has no place for demons. What will you do?"

"The president may be deceived, but I will save him—and make him see the truth," Stryker vowed, his eyes burning with vengeful determination.

A Busy Street

Amidst the bustling crowd, a tall, broad-shouldered blonde man pushed a wheelchair slowly along the sidewalk. He looked like a devoted son taking his frail mother for a walk.

"Steve, where are you taking me?" the elderly woman in the wheelchair asked weakly, her voice trembling.

Steve lowered his head, his expression filled with sorrow and love. "To a place where you can dance again."

"In times of chaos, true intentions are revealed."
