Chapter 105 - CHAPTER 105

Caesar did not refuse, knowing that sooner or later, they would make contact.

---

"To be honest, after our conversation just now, I appreciate you, Captain Caesar."

"If you are interested, you can follow me to visit the Island of the Gods. The scenery there is truly breathtaking!"

Caesar simply wanted to visit Shandora, so he nodded without hesitation.

"That works out well. I sensed that it was an island and was planning to go see it later," he replied.

Accepting Gan Fall's invitation, Caesar and his crew left the small shop specializing in various types of Dials.

Afterward, Caesar used his Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) to locate his crewmates. During their time shopping, everyone had purchased numerous items with the funds they were allocated.

For instance, Eli had bought a wide variety of miscellaneous items, while the three women—Lily, Verna, and another—coincidentally purchased many outfits and Sky Island's unique ornaments.

Caesar, however, had yet to buy anything.

He then introduced Gan Fall to everyone.

"This is Gan Fall, the former 'God' of Skypiea and the leader of Angel Island."

As he spoke, Caesar gestured toward Gan Fall.

The crew examined the middle-aged man, whose stern demeanor was softened by his gentle expression. They greeted him one by one.

"Hello, Gan Fall! I'm Gnali."

"I'm Eli."

"I'm Verna..."

"I'm…"

Gan Fall smiled and shook hands with each of them. He had a favorable impression of Caesar's crew, sensing that they were decent people—not the kind who would bring destruction.

In contrast to the more aggressive visitors Skypiea had encountered before, the Caesar Pirates seemed to have a high standard of conduct.

This realization eased Gan Fall's concerns significantly.

In good spirits, Gan Fall took it upon himself to act as their guide.

---

Upon arriving at Sky Island, everyone was filled with excitement. Each time Gan Fall introduced a new place, their admiration grew.

Eventually, they arrived at the coastline, where a fisherman had just returned using a Waver (Weiba in romaji). The sight of the small yet agile boat amazed everyone.

"Wow! That little boat looks so fast and fun!" Lily's eyes sparkled as she exclaimed.

"And it seems highly maneuverable—perfect for surfing across the clouds!" Verna added, her curiosity piqued.

Not just them, but even Eli, Gnali, and the others showed keen interest in the compact, one-person vehicle.

Observing their enthusiasm, Gan Fall smiled and waved over some of his Divine Squad soldiers.

"Go and bring some new Wavers," he ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

Turning to the crew, he added, "You all seem interested in Wavers, so consider these a small gift from me."

At first, everyone was surprised, but soon, cheers erupted.

"So it's called a Waver! The name sounds powerful!"

"I never expected to find such a unique type of boat," Arnold remarked.

"Gan Fall is such a generous guy!"

"I'm definitely trying it out later. It looks thrilling!"

"Once we get the hang of it, we should race each other for fun!"

---

As they chatted excitedly, the soldiers returned, dragging six brand-new Wavers.

The moment the vehicles were placed before them, the crew couldn't contain their excitement, immediately rushing forward to test them.

Gan Fall turned to Caesar with an apologetic expression. "Unfortunately, I was only able to get six new Wavers. I don't have one for you."

Caesar simply smiled. "No worries. I appreciate the gesture, and besides, if everyone had one, our ship wouldn't have space for them all."

While they spoke, the others eagerly hopped onto the Wavers.

Since there were only six, the three women were given priority, while the remaining three spots were determined through a quick game of rock-paper-scissors.

In the end, Gnali, Hades, and Arnold secured their spots.

---

As expected, handling the Wavers wasn't as easy as it looked.

A Nuo kept pressing the accelerator, but the Waver refused to budge, causing him to break into a nervous sweat.

Lily, on the other hand, immediately shot forward but nearly lost control due to her heavy-handed acceleration. Fortunately, as the navigator, she had a natural talent for handling seafaring equipment. Within moments, she had mastered the controls, smoothly gliding across the White-White Sea.

Hades managed to start his Waver without falling off, but his speed was sluggish—akin to that of a snail.

For a brief moment, chaos ensued as five of the six first-time riders struggled, much to the amusement of the onlookers.

Even the nearby fishermen burst into laughter.

Caesar shook his head with a helpless smile. His crew was truly energetic—they approached everything with boundless enthusiasm.

Luckily, after a few minutes of practice, everyone adapted and began riding the Wavers with ease.

After taking several laps, they reluctantly disembarked, following Gan Fall toward Upper Yard—formerly known as Apayado, the legendary land of Shandora.

Boarding their ship, they set sail toward the towering Giant Jack, a massive beanstalk stretching into the sky.

---

As they continued their journey, the crew remained animated, discussing the intriguing goods they had seen in Skypiea's marketplace.

Suddenly, Caesar's expression darkened. He turned his head toward the White-White Sea, his eyes narrowing.

"What's wrong?"

Regina, noticing his change in demeanor, instinctively followed his gaze.

Gan Fall also turned to look.

A short distance away, three figures resembling primitive warriors were rapidly approaching. One of them carried a bazooka-like weapon on his shoulder, aiming it at the crew.

"What's happening?" Regina asked, confused.

Gan Fall's expression shifted. He immediately signaled his companion—a large pink bird. In an instant, the bird transformed into a majestic Pegasus with sharp, determined eyes.

Gan Fall quickly mounted it and charged toward the intruders.

Meanwhile, Lily and the others, still immersed in their conversation, snapped to attention.

"Who are those people?!" Arnold asked, dumbfounded.

"They look like they're about to attack us," Brad replied, his tone turning cold.

At that moment, the enemies fired two rounds from their bazookas.

A massive beam of light streaked toward the crew.

Gan Fall's face paled. "This isn't good!"

But the Caesar Pirates remained composed.

Brad let out a furious roar. His muscles expanded as his height grew from two meters to nearly four.

In an instant, he transformed into a Zoan Tiger-Man.

"RAHHH!"

Brad punched forward, his Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki) gathering at his fist before exploding into a powerful shockwave.

The devastating force shattered the incoming attack.

Meanwhile, Gnali drew his Seigi no Katana with a sharp shing.

"Hmph. You dare attack the Caesar Pirates? You must have a death wish!"

With a single swift motion, he unleashed a powerful flying slash, slicing the second beam of light in half.

---

Gan Fall was left in awe.

"They possess powerful Haki… and that man has a Zoan Devil Fruit ability!"

"And their swordsman can cut through attacks effortlessly!"

His evaluation of the Caesar Pirates rose once again.

"Their strength is undeniable… and they seem like honorable people."

Gan Fall made a silent decision.

"I should forge an alliance with them while I have the chance."
