Chapter 109 - CHAPTER 109

Although Gan Fall's strength is not at the level of formidable warriors, he is the God of Skypiea, a title given to the ruler of the sky islands. He was once the leader of Skypiea before being overthrown by Enel and later reinstated after Enel's defeat. Despite his relatively modest combat ability compared to the likes of Enel, he is highly respected and trusted by the people of Angel Island and the surrounding sky islands.

With many people under his leadership, completing small tasks was never an issue.

Gan Fall nodded with a smile and said, "Yesterday, I had my men gather them overnight. You're in luck. There happened to be a batch of unsold ones in the warehouse, so I took as many as I could. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to find such a collection."

As he spoke, Gan Fall signaled to his men, who placed a large box in front of Caesar.

Gan Fall opened the box, revealing an impressive assortment of Dial shells—each gleaming under the sky's light.

He picked up a few Dials and showed them to Caesar, explaining:

"These are various types of Dials—some common, some rare. Among them, we even managed to find ten extinct Jet Dials."

"Here's a Breath Dial, which can store and release air. And this one is a Reject Dial, but we only found one—it's even rarer than an Impact Dial. You're truly fortunate to acquire it."

"There are also Light Dials, Flame Dials, and Impact Dials—whatever you name, I've gathered them for you."

"These are all extremely useful in daily life and combat."

"Great! I didn't expect there to be so many," Caesar said happily, picking up a few Dials and examining them closely. They were all of the highest quality.

Dials come in different grades—varying in size, power, and durability. The ones provided by Gan Fall were clearly top-tier, showing that great effort was put into acquiring them rather than just gathering random ones to appease Caesar.

Feeling appreciative, Caesar said, "Then I'll gladly accept them. Thank you for your help."

With that, he used his powers to lift the large box of Dials.

These Dials had many applications and would greatly improve their daily lives.

Afterward, Caesar took 100 million Berries from his ship and handed it to Gan Fall as payment.

Gan Fall, without hesitation, accepted the money with a hearty laugh.

Both were pleased with the exchange, and there was a growing sense of respect between them.

Gan Fall was actually curious about Caesar's strength and briefly considered testing him in combat. However, he quickly dismissed the thought—knowing he wouldn't stand a chance against someone who could likely defeat his former enemy, Enel.

After all, even he had struggled against Shura, one of Enel's priests, and was helpless against the overwhelming power of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

Fighting Caesar would only lead to an embarrassing defeat.

Understanding this, Gan Fall simply bid farewell and left.

Caesar set aside his training for the day and focused on inspecting the valuable Dials.

The group decided to rest on Skypiea for another day.

The Next Day

After spending a full day exploring and relaxing, Caesar and his crew were ready to set sail.

They went to bid farewell to Gan Fall.

"Goodbye, Gan Fall. If we ever get the chance, we'll return to visit," Caesar said with a smile.

"I look forward to that day," Gan Fall responded warmly. He had come to see Caesar as an honorable pirate—different from the ones he had encountered before.

The Caesar Pirates had changed his perception of pirates, making him realize that not all of them were ruthless criminals.

At that moment, Vera spoke up, "Gan Fall, if I come back next time, I might buy a property here. Can you help me find a good place?"

Vera had fallen in love with the serene atmosphere of Skypiea, believing it to be an ideal environment for her music composition.

Gan Fall chuckled, "No need to buy—I'll give you a place for free when the time comes."

"Alright, I'll hold you to that," Vera replied playfully.

Before leaving, Gan Fall insisted that Caesar and his crew take some gold from Shandora—the ancient Golden City.

Everyone was shocked.

They hadn't expected such generosity.

Shandora's gold was invaluable, and if too much was taken, the city could lose its legendary status as the Golden City.

But seeing that Gan Fall was serious, Caesar didn't refuse and accepted his offer.

So, the crew made their way to Shandora once more, marveling at the dazzling golden ruins.

Even though they had seen it before, the sight of Shandora's eternal golden glow was still breathtaking.

Gnali led Arnold and the others to collect a reasonable amount—valued at around one billion Berries.

Hades joked, "Not only did we avoid paying the entrance fee to Skypiea, but we also walked away with treasure. What a deal!"

With their business concluded, the crew set sail.

As the ship drifted away, Regina stood at the bow, smiling faintly. "That was an incredible journey."

Caesar nodded. "This world is vast, with many wonders left to explore. If we get the chance, we should visit more places."

"I wouldn't mind coming back," Vera said. "Living on Skypiea for a while could be a great experience."

As they watched Skypiea fade into the distance, the crew was in high spirits.

Under the guidance of their South Bird, the Caesar Pirates set course for Birka.

[120] Arrival at Birka – Caesar's Next Objective

The crew sailed across the endless White Sea.

The ship was stocked with Sky Island specialties—exotic foods, rare items, and, of course, a large collection of Dials.

The White-White Sea stretched endlessly, with nothing but the occasional Sky Fish leaping out of the water.

After days of intense battles with the Navy, this peaceful voyage was a welcome break.

However, the three new Devil Fruit users were still diligently training.

During their last encounter with the Navy, Eli had been seriously injured. Yet, thanks to his Self-Heal Fruit, he had managed to survive.

Seeing the immense value of his Devil Fruit, Eli became determined to master it, hoping to reach the level of Awakening so he could heal his crewmates as well.

As a new member of the Caesar Pirates, he wanted to prove his worth.

Similarly, Lily was training hard to refine her abilities.

Even Arnold practiced as best he could, though the limited space on the ship made it difficult.

Caesar occasionally gave them guidance while experimenting with the various Dials they had collected.

Gan Fall's gifted Dials were of exceptional quality, making them even more valuable.

Unexpected Discovery

One afternoon, after finishing lunch, the crew was preparing for a nap when Gregory approached Caesar.

"Caesar, you seem deep in thought lately. What's on your mind?" he asked.

"I'm thinking about the future of the Caesar Pirates," Caesar replied.

"Oh? What do you mean?"

"The New World is becoming increasingly chaotic."

"The pirate crews out there are growing stronger—especially the Golden Lion."

"Even Newgate, though still alone, will eventually build a powerful fleet."

"That woman Big Mom—with her talents and children—will also become a formidable force."

"And then there's Roger and his crew."

"The New World is heading toward an era of clashes between powerful figures."

Just as their conversation became serious, Arnold suddenly shouted from the deck.

"LAND! I SEE AN ISLAND!"

Startled, everyone rushed to the deck.

"An island? Where?" Vera asked.

Arnold pointed. "There! Look closely!"

As the ship sailed forward, a dark shape slowly came into view on the distant horizon.

"It's really an island!" someone exclaimed.

The Caesar Pirates had reached Birka.
