Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Fight of Vengeance

Council Member 0 smirked. "If you want the boy alive, fight me first."

Maria reacted instantly, firing her gun, but the shot missed its mark. Without hesitation, Council Member 0 unsheathed his blade, engaging Zenix in a fierce clash. Their weapons sparked as they exchanged rapid blows.

Hellesa lunged at him, but he dodged effortlessly, moving with unnerving precision. In a swift counterattack, he delivered a powerful kick, sending Zenix hurtling through the air. With Zenix momentarily down, Council Member 0 shifted his focus to Hellesa, eyes gleaming with deadly intent.

Hellesa lunged forward, throwing a punch, but Council Member 0 caught it effortlessly. A faint smile played on his lips. "A familiar touch after so many years," he mused before shifting his focus. In a blur of motion, he leaped onto Nesco, slashing deep into his left hand. Nesco recoiled in pain as Council Member 0 raised his blade, ready to deliver the final blow.

Just as the sword descended, Isaac intervened, blocking the strike with his own weapon. Sparks flew as the two clashed, but Council Member 0 was unfazed. With his second blade, he turned and engaged both Zenix and Isaac at once, his movements swift and precise. Despite their combined efforts, his overwhelming strength became undeniable. With a single, forceful strike, he sent both Zenix and Isaac flying, crashing hard against the ground.

Unhindered, he turned back to Nesco, ready to finish what he had started. But before his blade could find its mark, Hellesa intercepted, her weapon locking against his. She pushed forward with all her strength, refusing to let him advance. Seizing the opening, Izaki darted in from behind, driving his blade into Council Member 0's back. The strike landed, but the council member barely flinched.

Maria fired a shot, aiming for his leg. The bullet struck, but he didn't even falter.

Council Member 0 scoffed, turning his piercing gaze toward them. "I can't even feel your strength anymore," he sneered. "You've all grown weak." His cold eyes landed on Zenix. "And you—Zenix—the one who spent a decade preparing for war, only to watch it all fall apart. Everything you built, every plan you crafted, is in ruins."

His voice darkened, his presence looming. "Accept your defeat… or watch as everyone around you dies."

Inside the dimly lit command center of BCB Headquarters, Agent 61 stood before his superior, delivering grim news.

"Sir, the city of Irnak has been completely overrun by the secret organization's army," he reported. "What are your orders? Should we eliminate them?"

The boss leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled in thought. A smirk formed on his face as he shook his head. "No. We need them alive. We have a contract to deliver 10,000 prisoners—we could fulfill it right now."

Agent 61 hesitated before speaking. "Sir, if I may… We could use them to lure out the higher authorities of the organization."

The boss let out a dry chuckle, his amusement barely concealing his disdain. "You still don't understand, do you? They don't care about anyone. Even if we captured one of their highest-ranking members, they wouldn't make a move. They're too cautious, too calculated. Their loyalty is to the cause, not to individuals."

Agent 61 nodded, absorbing the weight of his superior's words. "Understood, sir. I'll inform the local police."

"No." The boss's voice was firm, leaving no room for debate. "We need more than the police. Their numbers are too great, and some of them are incredibly strong. The usual enforcement won't cut it." He leaned forward, his expression darkening. "Inform our forces. I want every last one of them transported to the East Coastal Prison. That facility was built for people like them—it can hold them."

Agent 61 straightened, immediately grasping the gravity of the situation. "Yes, sir. I'll relay the orders immediately."

As he turned to leave, the boss exhaled slowly, his gaze fixed on the city's skyline through the large window. Irnak had fallen—but what mattered now was what came next.

(the scene switches to fight between council member 0 and zenix's group)

Hellesa stood frozen, her mind racing. I can't stop him. He's too strong. How?! How can I win?!

A voice suddenly echoed within her mind, deep and resonant. I will fight him. Just weaken your body, and I will take over.

Her heart pounded. "Who are you?! How are you in my mind?!"

I am a part of your soul. Do as I say, or suffer the consequences.

Desperate, Hellesa took a shaky breath and surrendered control. Instantly, a surge of energy coursed through her, her body stiffening before relaxing under an unfamiliar presence. When she opened her eyes again, they glowed with an eerie, otherworldly light.

She turned to face Council Member 0, her voice no longer her own. It was layered, ethereal, and filled with deep fury. "Do you think I will forgive you for what you've done?!"

Council Member 0 narrowed his eyes, his expression darkening. "I didn't expect you to return… I should have destroyed you too. But now, I know your limits."

Hellesa—or rather, the spirit within her—let out a low, guttural growl. "Even if you destroy this body, I will return again and again—until you are dead!"

Her fingers elongated into sharp claws, crackling with energy. Without hesitation, she lunged at him. Council Member 0 met her charge, raising his twin blades to deflect. Sparks flew as steel clashed against supernatural force. She recoiled, her movements faster than before, already preparing another attack.

Before she could strike again, Council Member 0 moved to counter—but Izaki intercepted. The moment of distraction cost him dearly. Council Member 0's blade plunged into Izaki's side, his body jerking from the impact.

Council Member 0's expression remained cold and indifferent as he lifted Izaki by the neck, his grip tightening. "I show no mercy, even to those close to me." With that, he hurled Izaki aside, his body crashing into the rubble.

Hellesa, fully charged with raw energy, let out a bloodcurdling scream. The force around her grew unbearable, distorting the air itself. In an instant, she unleashed a devastating wave of power, surging toward Council Member 0.

He attempted to block, raising his blades in defense, but it was futile. The energy engulfed him, burning through his defenses, tearing into him like an unstoppable storm.

A scream of agony escaped his lips as his body convulsed. The last remnants of his strength faded, and he collapsed to the ground—lifeless.

The battlefield fell silent.

But the victory came at a cost. The strain had been too much for Hellesa's body. Blood gushed from her mouth as she staggered, her knees buckling. She collapsed, the energy leaving her as quickly as it had arrived.

Darkness consumed her vision as she fell unconscious.

(the scene switches to the secret organization's army)

"What?! Those are BCB Army vehicles! They're here to capture us! Run!"

The cry of alarm sent a wave of panic through the secret organization's forces. Soldiers scrambled in every direction, desperate to escape, but it was too late. The BCB Army had planned their assault with precision, closing off every possible route.

Gunfire rang out as a few rebels attempted to fight back, but their resistance was short-lived. Heavily armed BCB soldiers advanced methodically, overpowering them with ease. Smoke and dust filled the air as the last pockets of resistance fell.

"Drop your weapons and surrender!" a commanding officer barked. Some obeyed, their faces filled with resignation, while others hesitated—only to be forced down by BCB enforcers.

One by one, they were rounded up, shackled, and escorted to waiting transport vehicles. Any thoughts of escape vanished as they watched their comrades hauled away like cattle.

They had fought for their cause, but in the end, they had lost. Their fate was sealed.
