In addition to Madam Henry, there was a middle-aged man with a cold face and an old woman with white hair in the living room.
Avril looked at them and thought to herself, "This must be Duke Henry and Haider's grandmother."
Completely ignoring Madam Henry, Haider brought Avril into the hall.
Avril felt strange that Haider and his mother didn't get along with each other, but she did not say anything about it. Instead, she planned to ask Haider when they were alone.
Duke Henry was a serious man with a righteous look on his face. When he saw Avril, he ignored her but nodded to Haider.
Avril felt a little disappointed. She felt that the Duke did not accept her. She assumed that it might be the difference in status between Haider and herself.
"My dear grandchild, is this your wife Avril?"
An old lady next to Duke Henry walked up to Haider with a loving look on her face.
