Vampire: "Congratulations, warrior, you have managed to impress the audience! Now, there are three more battles left for you to claim your prize. Whether you win or not, it is up to the audience to decide the outcome."
Zombie: "Three, really? I don't know what I was expecting..."
Vampire: "For the first fight, you'll be facing a much stronger opponent, with the temporary name of Dullahan!"
Zombie: "What...?"
He enters the arena. It's the same map as before, but in a different place. He sees his friend, on the other side of a narrow stream. There are mountains in the distance.
Zombie: "Do I really have to fight him? I thought he was my prize, not my opponent..."
Dullahan charges with his scythe, cutting Zombie in half. He's caught off guard, but quickly heals his lower half. As Dullahan swings again, Zombie grabbed the blade of his scythe and tried to rot it and his friend, but only got his own hand cut off. With the palm of his other hand, he pushes the knight hundreds of meters.
They stare at each other for a moment. Zombie punches the ground and rots the grass for a great distance. Dullahan steps forward and strikes the undead in the stomach with the handle of his scythe, sending him flying until his body pierces a mountain and a green circle appears beneath him. Everything within a radius of dozens of kilometers burns instantly.
Vampire: "The winner is Dullahan!"
Zombie's body slowly regenerates until his next battle. Dullahan enters the arena. It's a desert biome this time. He's greeted by Vampire himself. He has charred skin, white hair and wears a red dress.
Vampire: "You're stronger than you look. A Colossus-Level threat, perhaps?"
Dullahan: "..."
Vampire: "I'm not going to kill you. But you should try your best, because I won't go easy on you."
Vampire points his hands at Dullahan and casts his magic, sucking the blood from his body.
Vampire: "Such horrible blood..."
Dullahan charges forward and tries to cut him in two with his scythe. The vampire turns into a pool of blood and emerges behind him. He summons a spear made of blood and stabs the horse, causing it to scream. Dullahan tries to hit him with his scythe again, but he dodges and delivers a punch from above, knocking the rider into the sand.
Dullahan burns the entire landscape, turning some of the sand into glass. The vampire is hit, but heals quickly. He also transforms into a huge pool of blood that covers the charred landscape and begins to float like a bubble. It then explodes, causing massive damage all over.
Vampire: "The winner is me!"
The crowd cheers once again.
Vampire: "Now, for your final fight... Zombie and Dullahan versus Lich!"
Zombie: "Two versus one? I don't think we stand a chance anyway..."
They enter the arena, in the middle of a snowstorm. They feel neither cold nor heat, only the wind pushes them back slightly. Lich holds his book in one hand and casts a spell in the other.
Before they can react, a dark beam covers the landscape next to them, intentionally avoiding them. Now, they're standing on a thin line of land that still remains.
Zombie: "We... surrender."
Dullahan crashes into Lich anyway, dragging him across the landscape. All Zombie can see is his friend being thrown into space and multiple beams of light following him.
Zombie: "WE SURRENDER!"
Vampire: "As expected, the winner is Lich! Zombie and Dullahan, come meet me at the cabin."
They go at said place.
Zombie: "Thank you for not killing my friend... he can be a bit ruthless sometimes."
Vampire: "Oh, I can assure you that the Lich wouldn't kill him unless things got really serious. He and I can't die that easily."
Zombie: "So I passed the test?"
Vampire: "You two managed to impress the audience. The Merchant said your reward was the beast, so we can't give you any more prizes. Sorry about that."
Zombie: "I don't care about prizes."
Vampire: "I can give you a personal reward. Do you have anything you want to ask? By the way, I'm one of the Heroes, so I may have valuable information for you."
Zombie: "Hm... Are you an undead?"
Vampire: "Yes, sir."
Zombie: "I thought humans didn't accept strangers."
Vampire: "The thing is, something's brewing. I can't tell you what, because I'm not really sure yet. But humans need all the help they can get."
Zombie: "I assume you're trustworthy."
Vampire: "Me and Lich have both undergone a test, just like you two."
Zombie: "A test?"
Vampire: "You're strong enough to be compared to us, and we could use more manpower. What do you think?"
Zombie: "Joining the Heroes? Why?"
Vampire: "You look lost. Having a purpose is great, don't you think?"
Zombie: "I have a purpose..."
Vampire: "Hm? And what is it?"
Zombie: "My friend... he's been looking for his head since we met."
Vampire: "I could help you find it, but how about learning more about this world before you decide your path? I know someone who can help you with your task."
Zombie: "Who?"
Vampire: "Go to Soluld. I suggest you ride your friend's horse, because it's quite far from here."
They go to a mystical village. It's dark, as there is a black hole covering the sky.
Zombie: "Is this the place? Where is that person he told us about?"
A massive firework lights up the sky, near a huge mountain, which is aligned with the moon. Zombie mounts the horse again, knowing where to go. He runs at high speed, careful not to damage the village. When he gets close enough, he jumps towards the peak of the mountain.
There, a young woman is sitting in the snow. She wears a black witch's uniform and hat and has dark red wavy hair. There are several bottles scattered on the ground. She drinks another one.
Zombie: "Did he tell you we were coming?"
Witch: "Who...? Who are you...?"
Zombie: "What? Why did you signal to us then?"
Witch: "I don't know what you're talking about... I'm just enjoying some fireworks in this beautiful view..."
Zombie: "Are you the one we're looking for?"
Witch: "Perhaps... I am Missy, greetings..."
Zombie: "We don't have names. Vampire asked us to see you."
Witch: "Vampire...? Ah, that one from the human kingdom...?"
Zombie: "Can you track an object?"
Witch: "I can do many things, dear..."
Zombie: "Hey, are you good?"
Witch: "Better than ever...! Welcome to Soluld, friend..."
