Even though she had prepared herself for it, when it actually happened, Blue Silver Empress found herself feeling uneasy, as if she might lose something important.
"However, tomorrow I can finally tease Bibi Dong about this. Hehe," Blue Silver Empress thought, a mischievous smile spreading across her face as she recalled the times Bibi Dong had teased her in the past.
The next morning, the earth was washed clean by the heavy rain, and the air was filled with a refreshing, revitalizing scent.
Outside the window, birds chirped freely, their cheerful songs filling the air.
Blue Silver Empress woke up early and went out to buy breakfast, making sure to pick something nutritious.
In the bedroom, Bibi Dong slowly woke up. As she moved slightly, she felt a dull ache and a lingering soreness throughout her body.
"Dong'er, don't move. Stay a little longer," Lin Yongming said, noticing Bibi Dong was awake. He continued to hold her tightly.
"Stupid Xiao Ming, I hate you," Bibi Dong said with a hint of resentment in her eyes as she looked at him.
"You said you'd be gentle with me, but..."
"But what?"
"Hmph, never mind..."
Bibi Dong, recalling everything that had happened the previous night, suddenly felt too shy to continue.
Then, she noticed the scratches on Lin Yongming's arms and back.
"Xiao Ming, does it hurt?" Bibi Dong asked softly as she gently touched the marks.
"Of course it hurts, but having you makes it all worth it," Lin Yongming replied with a grin.
"Ugh, you deserve it! You weren't gentle at all," Bibi Dong said, her cheeks flushing red.
"Well, that's because Dong'er is just too irresistible," Lin Yongming teased.
"So it's my fault now? I... I'll strangle you!" Bibi Dong said, pretending to lunge at him.
But Lin Yongming held her tightly, making it impossible for her to move.
"Xiao Ming, I've given you everything. If you ever betray me, I'll kill you and then myself," Bibi Dong said softly, her voice filled with emotion.
"Of course. If that ever happens, I'll let you do whatever you want to me. I won't resist," Lin Yongming promised.
"Dong'er, once this journey is over, if nothing major comes up, let's explain our feelings to His Holiness the Pope and hold a wedding, okay?" Lin Yongming said with deep affection.
"No, it's too sudden to explain everything to my teacher like that. We need to take some time to adjust after returning to the Spirit Hall," Bibi Dong unexpectedly rejected his proposal.
"But A Yin and I are already engaged. I want to give you the same recognition. It wouldn't be fair to you otherwise," Lin Yongming explained.
"Xiao Ming, thank you for thinking of me, but just being with you makes me happy. Recognition isn't important."
"Besides, what's the difference between an engagement and a marriage? My teacher will find out eventually anyway," Bibi Dong replied understandingly.
"But I feel like this might make you feel wronged," Lin Yongming said, his heart aching for her.
"Why would I feel wronged? We just need some time to adjust after returning to the Spirit Hall. It's not like we're never going to get married," Bibi Dong said, rolling her eyes.
"Alright, I'll respect your decision," Lin Yongming said, kissing her forehead tenderly.
The two of them lay together for a while longer, enjoying the warmth of each other's presence.
"Xiao Ming, I'm feeling better now. Let's get up. I can't let A Yin look down on me," Bibi Dong said, breaking free from his embrace.
"Alright."
They got up and took a shower together.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Blue Silver Empress had returned with breakfast.
As she entered the room, Blue Silver Empress looked at Bibi Dong with a teasing smile.
"Stupid A Yin, what are you smiling at? Xiao Ming told me it was all your idea!" Bibi Dong said, annoyed.
"Haha! Little Dong Dong, you were quite loud last night," Blue Silver Empress teased.
"Stupid A Yin, I'll strangle you!" Bibi Dong said, trying to get up, but she winced in pain and sat back down on the sofa.
"Don't push yourself. Do you need me to heal you?" Blue Silver Empress joked.
"No, I don't! Hmph!" Bibi Dong said, turning her head away proudly.
"Still being stubborn, huh? Remember, I'm your older sister now. Not only am I two years older than you, but I was also here first. Come on, call me 'Sister A Yin,'" Blue Silver Empress continued to tease.
"Ugh, you're just stupid A Yin. Even if you're older and were here first, you're still stupid A Yin," Bibi Dong shot back.
"Xiao Ming, it seems someone still isn't convinced. You'll have to continue educating your new wife tonight," Blue Silver Empress said, turning to Lin Yongming.
"Go away...!" Bibi Dong's face turned red with embarrassment and anger.
Lin Yongming watched the two women bicker, but despite their teasing, the scene felt warm and harmonious.
"With wives like these, what more could I ask for?" Lin Yongming thought to himself.
When he first arrived in the Douluo Continent, Lin Yongming had never imagined he would end up with both Bibi Dong and Blue Silver Empress, let alone in such a harmonious relationship.
"Alright, you two, stop arguing. Let's eat breakfast. Dong'er needs to rest. Don't forget, we have the Lantern Festival tonight," Lin Yongming said to the two women.
"True, Dong'er is still recovering from her first time. She needs to rest, or she won't be able to enjoy the Lantern Festival tonight. I wouldn't want her to blame me," Blue Silver Empress said, nodding.
"Who's your Dong'er?" Bibi Dong rolled her eyes.
"But, joking aside, when we return to the Spirit Hall, I hope you'll still call me Bibi Dong," Bibi Dong said seriously.
"Don't worry, we know how to behave. You're just worried your teacher won't approve and need some time to adjust," Blue Silver Empress replied earnestly.
The three of them ate breakfast together, and Yu Xiaogang was completely forgotten.
After breakfast, Blue Silver Empress helped clean up Bibi Dong's room, teasing her the entire time.
Then, she left Bibi Dong to rest in the bedroom.
Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress returned to their room. As soon as the door closed, Blue Silver Empress threw herself into Lin Yongming's arms.
"Xiao Ming, when I heard those sounds last night, I felt like I was losing you. It scared me," Blue Silver Empress said softly, pouring out her feelings.
"A Yin, don't overthink it. Both of you hold the same place in my heart," Lin Yongming replied tenderly.
"Hmph... I don't care. I want you too," Blue Silver Empress said, her emotions surging as she sought Lin Yongming's affection.
Lin Yongming naturally responded to her passion with equal fervor.
After some time, Blue Silver Empress lay contentedly in Lin Yongming's arms, falling asleep.
"Last night must have been hard for A Yin. She probably didn't sleep well," Lin Yongming thought, noticing her unusual emotional state.
He held her even more gently, cherishing her.
By the time they left the inn, it was already past four in the afternoon.
"Dong'er, let me help you walk. You're still not moving quite right," Blue Silver Empress said, linking arms with Bibi Dong.
"Thank you, Sister A Yin," Bibi Dong said, slightly embarrassed.
"It's nothing. It's all Xiao Ming's fault," Blue Silver Empress said, shooting a glance at Lin Yongming.
"Right, right, it's all my fault," Lin Yongming admitted sincerely.
"Sister A Yin, was it like this for you the first time with Xiao Ming?" Bibi Dong asked curiously.
"Hmph, this guy was like a bull back then. Luckily, my body recovers quickly, or I would've been in even worse shape than you are now," Blue Silver Empress said, smacking Lin Yongming's head lightly.
"Haha!" Lin Yongming laughed awkwardly.
They spent the day exploring Coconut Palm City. After dinner, they rented a boat to cruise along the river, with Lin Yongming doing the rowing.
The two women chatted and laughed at the front of the boat, while Lin Yongming rowed at the back.
They spent about three hours on the river, finally returning to shore at around nine in the evening. The city was even livelier now, as the Lantern Festival had begun.
"The bigger the lantern, the higher it flies, and the easier it is for the gods to hear your wishes," the lantern seller explained cheerfully to the trio.
The Lantern Festival was a time to release lanterns and pray to the gods, writing their wishes on the lanterns before setting them afloat.
"Boss, give us the biggest one you have," Blue Silver Empress said immediately.
"Coming right up!"
The three of them bought a lantern about a meter tall and carried it to a stone bridge over the river.
They placed their shared wish inside the lantern.
"May we stay together for a lifetime!"
Then, the three of them formed a triangle around the lantern.
"Let's release it together," Lin Yongming said.
"Okay!"
With smiles on their faces, they let go of the lantern, watching it rise into the sky.
"It's so beautiful!" Lin Yongming stood in the middle, with the two women holding his arms on either side. They watched as their lantern flew higher and higher until it disappeared from view.
"A Yin, Dong'er, having you by my side feels so wonderful. I love you both!" Lin Yongming said, his arms around the two women, drawing envious glances from passersby.
"Xiao Ming, I love you too!" Bibi Dong and Blue Silver Empress said in unison.
They stayed on the bridge for a long time before finally returning to the inn.
Blue Silver Empress and Bibi Dong kicked Lin Yongming out of the room, saying, "I need to take care of Dong'er. You sleep alone tonight."
After resting in Coconut Palm City for two more days and stocking up on supplies, the three of them set off again.
As they left the city gates, Bibi Dong looked back at Coconut Palm City.
"I never thought this city would become the place where I made my most beautiful memories in my 17 years of life," Bibi Dong said with deep emotion.
"In that case, let's come back here once Xiao Ming's eyes are healed. We can relive our journey together," Blue Silver Empress suggested.
"Sure, I agree with that," Lin Yongming said, nodding.
"Alright, let's head to the Star Dou Great Forest to help Xiao Ming get his sixth soul ring, and then we'll continue our journey to the Star Luo Empire."
The three of them traveled south, and after a few days, they arrived at the Star Dou Great Forest, a place that felt both familiar and unfamiliar after two years.
The last time they had been here was to help Bibi Dong obtain her sixth soul ring.
"Since we're already at the Star Dou Great Forest, and it's not far from Sister Rou's place, let's go visit her," Blue Silver Empress suggested.
"Sure, Sister Rou is so gentle, like an older sister. I really like her too," Bibi Dong agreed without hesitation.
"Let's go."
The three of them followed the outskirts of the Star Dou Great Forest and arrived at the village where Sister Rou lived.
However, they were met with disappointment. The front porch of the house was covered in yellowed leaves and dust, clearly untouched for a long time.
It was obvious that no one had lived there for quite some time.
"Strange, where could Sister Rou have gone? Could something have happened to her?" Blue Silver Empress said, growing anxious.
"A Yin, don't panic. Maybe Sister Rou was delayed by something or went on a trip. Let's check inside to see if she left a note," Lin Yongming suggested.
Blue Silver Empress nodded and rushed into the house. After searching the living room, she hurried into the bedroom.
"Xiao Ming, there's a layer of dust on the table. It looks like no one has cleaned this place for at least half a year," Bibi Dong said, running her finger along the dining table.
"Half a year... That's strange. Sister Rou wouldn't have gone far from the Star Dou Great Forest because of Xiao Wu. But half a year is a long time. Could something really have happened?"
"But during our two years of traveling, we haven't heard of anyone obtaining a 100,000-year soul ring or soul bone," Lin Yongming thought to himself, trying to piece together Sister Rou's current situation.
Fortunately, Blue Silver Empress soon emerged from the bedroom with a letter.
"A Yin, did Sister Rou leave a note? What happened?" Lin Yongming asked quickly.
"Don't worry. Sister Rou wrote that she went out to travel the continent," Blue Silver Empress said, relieved.
"That's good to hear," Lin Yongming nodded.
Blue Silver Empress had found the note Sister Rou had left, perhaps knowing that Blue Silver Empress would come looking for her.
The letter read: "A Yin, I don't know when you and Xiao Ming will come back, but Xiao Wu has entered a deep state of cultivation. It might take a year or two for her to wake up. So, I decided to travel around for a while. Don't worry about me. —Sister Rou."
"Since we know Sister Rou is safe, let's head into the Star Dou Great Forest," Bibi Dong said with a smile.
After failing to find Sister Rou, the three of them closed the door and entered the Star Dou Great Forest.
Lin Yongming's next soul ring needed to be between 50,000 and 70,000 years.
On the fifth day in the forest, while they were roasting meat by a river for lunch, a 60,000-year-old Sky Thunder Python suddenly attacked them from the bushes.
Its blue-green body was over ten meters long, and its head bore a blue tumor that sparkled with lightning, resembling a sapphire.
"Great, it almost ruined our lunch. Since it came to us, let's take it down," Blue Silver Empress said, nimbly dodging the python's tail swipe.
"A 60,000-year Sky Thunder Python is perfect for you, Xiao Ming," Bibi Dong said, flipping to the other side.
"Then let's make it my sixth soul ring. Dark Domain!" Lin Yongming immediately activated his soul domain, enveloping the area.
"Trying to escape now? Too late. Let's see if your coils are stronger than my vines," Blue Silver Empress said with a smile, activating her purple soul ring.
"Fourth Soul Skill: Blue Silver Prison!"
She tightened the prison, binding the Sky Thunder Python tightly.
"Fourth Soul Skill: Immovable Vajra Formation!" Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Empress worked together to kill the Sky Thunder Python without Bibi Dong needing to lift a finger.
"A Yin, you handle the roasting. I'll start absorbing the soul ring."
"Alright, the meat should be ready by the time you're done," Blue Silver Empress said, taking over the skewers.
Lin Yongming sat down beside the Sky Thunder Python, thinking to himself, "I wonder if absorbing this soul ring will give me enough energy to unlock my Mind's Eye."
