Although Bibi Dong appeared resolute, Lin Yongming knew that her heart was in turmoil, churning like a stormy sea. At this moment, Bibi Dong desperately needed reassurance.

She needed to be told that she was not a fallen one.

"That's right. Just because you possess a dark-type martial soul doesn't mean you're a fallen one. Only those who harm others for personal gain without effort are fallen ones," Blue Silver Emperor said, standing to Bibi Dong's right.

"Hmph… Say whatever you want. I will avenge my sister and brother-in-law, no matter the cost."

"But I know my own limitations. Even if I were to become a Title Douluo, I would never have the chance to take revenge. That's why I've long planned to enter the City of Sin."

"However, rumors say that once you enter the City of Sin, there's no way out. I've been hesitating, but now that I've seen you, Bibi Dong, you've given me hope. I can finally enter the City of Sin with peace of mind and pursue ultimate power."

As Bai Qianxiao spoke, she retreated to the corner of the room. With a forceful stomp, the ground beneath her collapsed, revealing a deep, blood-red tunnel that seemed to stretch into an abyss.

The moment the tunnel opened, a pungent smell of blood filled the air, accompanied by a strange, oppressive energy.

"Bibi Dong, if you don't avenge your parents by taking down Qian Xunji, our Spider Emperor family will curse you. You will never know peace in this life. You will suffer endless torment and become a fallen one, just like me—neither human nor ghost!"

With those final words, Bai Qianxiao shot Bibi Dong a look of deep resentment before leaping into the tunnel.

"No!"

Bibi Dong rushed forward, trying to stop her, but by the time she reached the edge of the tunnel, Bai Qianxiao had already vanished into its depths.

In truth, Bibi Dong hadn't wanted to kill Bai Qianxiao. She had simply been unable to accept the reality of the situation and had lashed out in anger.

If she had truly wanted to catch Bai Qianxiao, she could have done so easily with half her soul power intact.

"Dong'er." Lin Yongming approached Bibi Dong, who was kneeling by the tunnel entrance, her face filled with sorrow. He gently patted her back, offering silent comfort.

"Xiao Ming, what should I do? I'm a fallen one… the very thing I despise the most." Bibi Dong's tearful eyes remained fixed on the tunnel entrance, unwilling to look away.

"Dong'er, there's no such thing as a fallen one martial soul. What makes someone fallen is the corruption of their heart, not their martial soul. Martial souls are neither good nor evil—it's people who choose to be good or evil."

"You will always be the noble and pure Holy Maiden of the Spirit Hall in the hearts of the people, one of the celebrated Three Heroes of Wu Ying," Lin Yongming spoke softly, trying to soothe her.

"Wah…" Bibi Dong buried her face in Lin Yongming's chest and began to sob. "But how will I face my teacher now?"

"Sigh… Let things take their natural course. We all know what fallen ones are—they're devoid of humanity, their hearts twisted by their pursuit of power. So, as for Qian Xunji's actions, from the perspective of the villagers and ordinary soul masters, they can be seen as justified."

"So, just treat her words as excuses she made to escape," Blue Silver Emperor sighed helplessly.

Both of them understood the heavy blow this had dealt to Bibi Dong's heart.

First, she had learned about her origins and identity. Then, she had heard that Qian Xunji had killed her parents.

Even though they were fallen ones, they were still her parents. And now, she had to face Qian Xunji, who had raised and taught her.

In the end, Bibi Dong said nothing. Silently, she used wooden planks to seal the entrance to the City of Sin, covering it with a layer of soil.

Throughout this process, Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Emperor remained quiet, simply staying by her side.

Afterward, they set up a tent inside the stone house and prepared some food.

"I'm sorry for making you two worry about me," Bibi Dong finally spoke after a long silence, accepting a piece of dried meat.

"What are you talking about? No matter what happens, we're here for you."

"We're sisters, and we have a long journey ahead of us." Blue Silver Emperor smiled gently, relieved to see Bibi Dong opening up.

"That's right. We're your family now. No matter what difficulties we face, we'll face them together," Lin Yongming added with a nod.

"Mm!" Bibi Dong nodded firmly.

"Let's eat. After dinner, we'll rest."

After a simple meal, Bibi Dong fell into a light sleep beside Blue Silver Emperor.

The surroundings of the stone house were eerily quiet, and Lin Yongming meditated to restore his soul power.

"Does Qian Xunji know about Dong'er's past?"

"If he really brought Bibi Dong to Spirit City when she was two years old, he probably never expected her to awaken a twin martial soul."

"Does that mean Qian Xunji's actions were purely out of goodwill, or was this part of a long-term plan?"

Lin Yongming's thoughts were heavy as he pondered these questions.

The next afternoon, the three of them returned to Xiyun City.

A large crowd had gathered at the entrance of the Spirit Hall, seemingly preparing to depart for some unknown destination.

"Bishop Cheng, what's going on? Where are you all headed?" Bibi Dong asked directly as they approached the Spirit Hall.

"My lord, you've returned!" Bishop Cheng Jian was startled.

"My lords, we were just about to send reinforcements to assist you. Did you manage to defeat the fallen one Soul Douluo?" Deacon Fang Yan asked excitedly.

It turned out that after arranging the villagers' remains, it had already been evening by the time they finished.

"She's dead. All the fallen ones in Hundred Insect Valley have been eliminated. How were the villagers' remains handled?" Bibi Dong asked calmly.

"Everything has been taken care of. The remains that could be identified were returned to their families, and the unidentified ones were buried together," Deacon Fang Yan reported.

"Good. The fallen ones in the Yunluo Mountain Range have been eradicated. We'll rest at the inn tonight and leave tomorrow," Bibi Dong nodded.

After a day of adjustment, Bibi Dong appeared to be her usual self, but deep down, she was far from at peace.

So, when they returned to the inn, Bibi Dong spoke little and retreated to her room.

"Go. Spend some time with Dong'er these next few days," Blue Silver Emperor urged, giving Lin Yongming a gentle push.

"Mm." Lin Yongming nodded and entered Bibi Dong's room.

The next morning, the three of them packed their belongings and left the inn, preparing to depart Xiyun City.

However, as they walked down the street, Bishop Cheng Jian and Deacon Fang Yan approached them.

"My lords, please wait!" Bishop Cheng Jian called out as soon as he saw them.

"Bishop Cheng, is there something else?" Bibi Dong turned around, puzzled.

"My lords, last night I received a message from headquarters."

"His Holiness the Pope has ordered that if any branch encounters the three of you, you are to halt your training mission and return to Spirit City headquarters immediately," Bishop Cheng Jian said solemnly.

"Halt the training mission?" Bibi Dong was stunned.

"Bishop Cheng, did His Holiness mention why we need to return so urgently?" Lin Yongming frowned.

"No, he only instructed us to notify you if we encountered you," Bishop Cheng Jian replied helplessly.

"Alright, we understand," Lin Yongming nodded.
