Chapter 79 - Chapter 79

"Brother Jia, your cooking is still the best," Chen Xiaofeng said as he ate, without any manners.

"What happened just now? Who was playing the piano?" Jia Fuhai asked, ignoring him.

"It's a skill. He can just do it naturally," Zhen Linna immediately responded.

The others nodded in agreement.

Zhen Fugui and Jia Fuhai were surprised to see Na Ji eating so well.

"This is amazing," Jia Fuhai sighed after a moment, realizing that his son's skills had developed further. He wasn't sure by how much, but it was clear they had improved.

He chuckled to himself, thinking about how, after his son learned a bit more, he could ask him to teach him how to play the piano. What a studious father he was, willing to humble himself and ask his son for advice.

After dinner, everyone settled down to rest.

"Nana, I'm preparing to hire a piano teacher. What do you think?" Zhen Linqi asked Nana.

"Sure, but aren't the kids a bit too young?" Zhen Linna glanced at her two little brothers.

"It's fine. They can start learning on a small piano," Zhen Linqi said, pointing at a miniature piano.

"..." Chen Lina had originally wanted to speak up, as she had a distant niece who practiced piano, but when she looked at Jia Fuhai, she kept quiet. This man was like a wolf in sheep's clothing—she couldn't send her niece to him. Her daughter might take the initiative and make things worse. Lately, she had noticed her daughter sleeping in more, and she had her suspicions.

Forget it; Qiqi would take care of it, so she didn't need to worry.

The two sisters agreed to hire a piano teacher for the children and would ask Teacher Wang when she came over.

"Xiaofeng, your platform isn't that great. It's not even on par with other platforms," Jia Fuhai said disdainfully, looking at the slouching Chen Xiaofeng.

"My platform is clean," Chen Xiaofeng said after a pause, explaining himself.

"What does cleanliness have to do with this?" Jia Fuhai asked, puzzled.

"I don't force my streamers to participate in unnecessary shows or pay for promotion. They just do their own thing."

Chen Xiaofeng sounded indifferent. If things didn't work out, he could always return to inherit his family's billions of assets.

"Wow, so there's all this behind-the-scenes drama. Everyone looks so glamorous on livestreams," Jia Fuhai mused, unaware of the industry's realities.

"Those platforms are bound to run into problems eventually," Chen Xiaofeng said with disdain.

His livestream platform had been sidelined because he wasn't sociable enough to gain favor from the big players. Other platforms were pooling resources, while he relied on his father's connections and some resources from Hong Kong to keep going.

Just then, Jia Fuhai's phone beeped.

"My toys are here! Help me move them," Jia Fuhai said, his voice filled with excitement.

"What toys?" Chen Xiaofeng stood up, curious.

"Remote-controlled ones," Jia Fuhai replied, leading the way downstairs.

"Brother Jia, you're still playing with these?" Chen Xiaofeng asked, looking at the large remote-controlled plane in disbelief.

"Why not?" Jia Fuhai looked at him, surprised by the question.

"Wouldn't it be more fun to play with the real thing?" Chen Xiaofeng asked, puzzled.

Jia Fuhai paused for a moment, considering the idea. It did make sense, but he quickly retorted, "I got it for my son to play with. I don't want him flying a real plane just yet."

Rich people sure live differently, Chen Xiaofeng thought. But remote controls were still fun—could he fly a real plane?

"I hadn't thought of that," Chen Xiaofeng admitted. He had seen people gift pianos and other expensive items before, but a remote-controlled plane was unexpected. He had assumed those kinds of toys were for older kids. He'd planned to give something like jade, but the child was still too young to wear it.

Later, when they returned home, Teacher Wang arrived. Zhen Linqi discussed hiring a piano teacher with her, and, as expected from a top-notch private tutor, she found one right away.

Little did the Jia brothers, Qiyi and Naji, know that their free time was about to get even shorter.

"Wow, Brother Jia, you're wasting your skills. You should be livestreaming," Chen Xiaofeng remarked as he stepped out of the room where the children were being taught.

"Tsk, it's not like I haven't uploaded videos before, but I eventually stopped," Jia Fuhai replied. He remembered he hadn't checked his video account in a while—who knew it might have gone viral by now?

"It's obvious that Brother Jia's laziness is to blame," Chen Xiaofeng noted, glancing at Zhen Linna beside him. She had no interest in making money.

"Thank you, Teacher Wang, for your help," Zhen Linqi said gratefully.

"Don't worry. I'll get a renowned piano teacher for them," Teacher Wang replied with a smile. The Jia brothers were easy to teach, and their family paid well, so it was a win-win situation.

The two boys ran out of the room, shaking their heads.

"Qiyi, Naji, come here," Jia Fuhai called, and the brothers quickly ran over, spotting a pile of toys waiting for them.

"Do you want to play?" Jia Fuhai asked with a grin.

"Yes!" they both shouted, nodding enthusiastically.

"Let's go downstairs," he said.

"I want to play too," Zhen Linna chimed in, eager to join the fun.

"Alright, let's go." Jia Fuhai handed out the remote-controlled toys, one to each person.

"Mom and Dad, you can take the stroller, and we'll head down first," Jia Fuhai said as he grabbed three drones.

Zhen Fugui and Chen Lina exchanged glances but eventually complied, seeing the excitement on their grandsons' faces.

As they arrived at the park, a few neighbors greeted them.

"Boss Jia, are you out having fun?"

"Boss Jia, time to close those shops in the plaza."

"Boss Jia, two sons already, huh?"

There were quite a few people in the park.

"Boss Jia~ Boss Jia~ Boss Jia~~" Zhen Linna called out in a playful tone, mimicking the neighbors.

Ignoring her, Jia Fuhai went to an open space and released his sons from the stroller. After setting up the drones, he handed them the remote controls and instruction manuals. "Alright, boys, it's your turn."

"...Brother Jia, seriously? Is this how you teach your kids?" Chen Xiaofeng couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Geniuses don't need to be taught. Let them figure it out on their own," Jia Fuhai scoffed. His sons would definitely learn faster than he did.

"Then why did you bring the toys down here?" Chen Xiaofeng asked, confused as he looked at the remote-controlled plane in his hand.

"Because I wanted to play," Jia Fuhai said confidently.

"...So the little ones play with drones, and the adults play with toys? Does that sound right?" Chen Xiaofeng was at a loss.

"That sounds perfect to me! I want to play too," Zhen Linna chimed in, unbothered by the logic.

Zhen Fugui took the kids farther away to ensure they didn't get hurt while learning to handle the drones.
