The chilling shower washed over his body as Brandon stood under the shower.
The water flowed down his body, tracing the contours of his back, shoulders, and arms before gathering at his feet and spiraling into the drain.

He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath to control his thoughts.
Moments later, he opened his eyes and tilted his head back, allowing the last few moments of the shower to wash over his face one final time before he reached for the knob and turned it off.
Brandon stepped out of the glass shower, droplets still clinging to his skin. He reached for the towel hanging nearby and wrapped it loosely around his waist, the fabric soaking up the water.
As he came out of the shower glass, he looked at Ravene standing beside the sink with a towel in her hand.
"Ravene."
"Come here, let me dry you."
