Seeing everyone looking at him, Obito smiled.
He took pleasure in weaving this perfect lie, but to make them truly believe that he was Uchiha Madara—that was the real goal.
Obito flickered over to Karin and said, "Karin, come out."
Karin hesitated, trembling slightly. The sheer presence of so many powerful chakras before her made her uneasy.
Before she could speak, Obito pulled her into his Kamui dimension. Just before she disappeared, he commanded, "Go and heal Sasuke's wounds."
Watching this, Kankuro asked, "Is that Madara's ability?"
Temari sighed. "Space-Time Ninjutsu."
Meanwhile, Karin landed with a thud in a strange cubic dimension. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Sasuke lying before her.
"Sasuke! Sasuke, can you hear me?!"
She hurriedly placed her hands over his injuries and gasped. His ribs near his waist were completely shattered. The damage was severe.
Scanning her surroundings, she saw nothing but countless floating cubes—a telltale sign of the masked man's personal dimension.
---
Back at the battlefield, the Raikage took a step forward, glaring at Obito. "I don't care if you're Madara or anyone else! Where is my brother?!"
Obito strolled across the snow, kicking aside a layer of frost from an upturned rock. Sitting down casually, he responded, "He managed to escape. The Eight-Tails remains uncaptured. So far, your brother is the most perfected Jinchūriki I've ever encountered. He truly lives up to being your kin."
Raikage's expression wavered between relief and anger. His muscles tensed as he processed the words.
Darui sighed. "I had a feeling he had more tricks up his sleeve than we expected. You can tell from the songs he writes—there's no way someone like him would be captured by Sasuke."
C, embarrassed by his earlier misjudgment, remained silent.
As Raikage transitioned from relief to fury, he barked, "That idiot! Running off to play outside the village at a time like this?! This is unforgivable! He's going to face the Iron Claw punishment the moment he returns!"
Obito, watching the Raikage lose his temper, exhaled. "Enough madness. Let's talk. Since all Five Kage are gathered here, it's the perfect time to discuss my plan. Listen carefully, and when I'm done, tell me your decision."
Raikage clenched his fists. "There's no way anything coming from your Akatsuki is good. You're all war criminals and rogue ninja!"
Onoki floated closer, trying to assess the situation. "Calm down, Raikage. There's no harm in listening. Let's hear what he has to say."
Seeing that the other Kage remained silent, Obito smirked. "So, you're all willing to listen?"
At last, Gaara, who had been quiet all this time, spoke. "Why did you want to use Sasuke?"
Obito sighed. "Sharingan users capable of manifesting Susanoo are rare.
"Naturally, good eyes need proper cultivation. I wanted him to sharpen his ocular power through real combat against the Five Kage. It was I who sent him here.
"Originally, my intent was for him to weaken you, take hostages, or at the very least, kill one or two of you. But as things stand, it seems I overestimated him."
---
Terumi Mei frowned. Not long ago, in the conference room, she had nearly been taken out by White Zetsu's surprise attack. If Onoki had not acted swiftly, she might have been dead.
Glaring at Obito, she demanded, "Taking hostages? Killing Kage? Why would you do that?!"
Obito met her gaze calmly. "That brings us to my next point—the Moon's Eye Plan."
Onoki narrowed his eyes, sweat forming on his forehead. The memories of Uchiha Madara's overwhelming strength haunted him.
"Madara! I never expected you to still be alive!"
Obito chuckled, looking at the aged Tsuchikage. "You've done well for yourself, brat. You actually became Tsuchikage."
Remembering Madara's monstrous power, Onoki frowned. "Someone like you shouldn't need such convoluted schemes. With your abilities, you could accomplish anything you wanted directly!"
Obito couldn't help but smirk inwardly. Perfect. That was exactly the question he had wanted someone to ask.
He fixed his gaze on Onoki and answered, "During my battle with the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, I was gravely injured. I lost one of my eyes, and in order to sustain my life, I paid a steep price. Otherwise, I wouldn't have survived until now. In short, my power is not what it once was."
Turning to Tsunade, he added, "To put it simply, this is just a shell."
C, analyzing Obito's words, spoke up. "This plan of yours—is it a scheme to restore your former self?"
Obito paused, then nodded slightly. "Well, you could see it that way."
After all, the real Uchiha Madara had commanded him to ensure his resurrection.
Tsunade stepped forward, determination in her voice. "I will never allow a monster like you to be revived!"
Obito remained unfazed. "My resurrection is only a small part of the plan."
Mifune, watching the exchange closely, finally asked, "What exactly is the Moon's Eye Plan? What are your true intentions?"
Obito shifted his position slightly, crossing one leg over the other. Raising a single finger, he looked at the gathered Kage and declared:
"Everything will merge with me. The world will become whole, unified under one entity."
The moment his words fell, the expressions of the Five Kage varied dramatically.
Gaara: Stunned.
Terumi Mei: Confused.
Raikage: Uneasy.
Onoki: Outraged.
As for Tsunade and Jiraiya, their stances hardened—they were prepared for battle at any moment.
