I am Dorian, alpha of this pack, and I swear to lead with honor and integrity." Howls could be heard after his vow then the elder silenced them. Now it is time for your vows, the pack members began to recite the oath sworn to the new alpha; we vow to stand by our alpha, to defend our pack, and to honor the traditions of our forebears." As they spoke, their eyes lifted to the sky, where the full moon hung low, a silver crescent glowing with an otherworldly light. "Goddess of the moon, we invoke your power and your wisdom," they prayed, their voices barely above a whisper. "Guide our new alpha, and grant us strength and unity." The pack's chant faded into the night air, leaving behind a sense of reverence and expectation. Dorian's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he finally got what he wanted. Then the celebration began.
