Flipping her top up, the infected scars that were once just a mark had spread around her entire stomach, already stretching towards her chest.
Panicking, Alice took a leap back.
The moment her foot touched the ground, she summoned her blade, stretching it to the side as she stared intensely at Adonis.
"It has gotten worse," Adonis uttered, not moving a single inch from where he was.
Alice sneered. "I don't have to answer you."
"Yes, you do."
Now Adonis was sitting on the ground. "Last I checked, I was the one that saved your life. And don't get me wrong, you are an excellent warrior, but as far as brains go, you fell short."
Taking it as an insult, Alice was ready to give a remark.
"That said, you have a good heart. I wouldn't be trying to help you if you didn't. Most importantly, I'm doing this for the innocent kids that got caught in all this."
Hearing his words, Alice laid back a bit, her blade shattering into tiny particles.
