Chapter 4 - Chapter 2 We left the forest and ended up in the stomach of two mutants Noin

From the sky we took a last look at the entire forest, an inhospitable place for any creature and our home in this new world, but it was time to leave the nest and go in search of the true adventure.

Hunt proposed to follow the river channel, heading to the east. It took a week to get out of the forest, due to our (MP) hunt difference could fly at 280 km/h for half an hour. Keep in mind that no we can use Magiston as drums, because it can't provide Maná ha (fly) quick enough.

(At a speed of 145 km/h we could travel about 185 km for 1h and 16 minutes. With the hunt mana exhausted we returned to the subdimension to rest and work on the maps that our ability provided us with of cartographer)

The sixth day while we flew. Hunt accelerated euphorically disappearing from my sight. When I finally achieve reach it, I was speechless the forest in which we were over and a great desert followed him arid.

Two days passed, the abrasing sun of the desert made a strange point shine, we believed that the heat was playing a bad pass when we saw that strange brightness hid among the sand. When we approached quickly, it was not our best decision, a great snake of a color clear brown. A beast of more than 100 meters long with a translucent shield. Its silhouette reflected the light as a Prism, projecting flashing around you.

We threw each other, we wanted to investigate the skin of that snake. We try to cross it with our swords.

The metallic sound resonated when our swords shattered against the indestructible scales of the

beast.

■—We can't go through them!— Hunt shouted, dodging the whip of the snake's tail.

Before being able to react, another snake pounced on him and devoured him whole.

● —Hunt!—I tried to reach it, but another beast swallowed me in the air, swallowing in a single movement.

From within I analyzed the snake:

[< Name >] : Horned Viper, Crystal Tail

[< Age >] : 150

[< Level >] : 980 (Noin)

[< Life Points (HP) >] : 8800

[< Magic Points (MP) >] : 6200

[< Damage >] : 8500

[< Defense >] : 100305

[< Agility >] : 32150

[]: flash []: stealth []: underground movement

The internal walls were rough and slippery, getting around me as if trying to squeeze me. A nauseabundo sudden suddenly, a mixture of decomposed and acidic meat, strong enough as to make me feel dizzy. I tried to move, but every time I did, the pressure increased, as if the

Beast was determined to drag me to his stomach without giving me the opportunity to fight.

Although it could support up to 250 ° C before suffering serious damage, the heat already touched that limit. My skin began to redden.

(I can't stay here for a long time ...)

Hunt was worse. His resistance was minor (200 ° C) and the heat would already be burned. Outside, the snake roaring and its body contracted, squeezing even more.

(I don't have time to try anything else!)

I pressed my teeth when I felt the acid bubbling on my clothes, trying to devour me.

(Acid remains a fluid ... just like water).

I took control of the viscous liquid, creating a sphere of Eteran around me. In a single movement, I absorb all acid and expelled it in all directions with brutal pressure, generating hundreds of internal cuts in the creature. The snake was violently convulsed until, suddenly, everything was silent. Only his armor remained. Crystal, intact ... but empty.

You have defeated your first Noin level mutant!

When I left, Hunt was already outside. Apparently, he had done the same as me.

■— I thought I would have to go for you.— he said with a smile, giving me a pat on my back.

I turned to answer, but all I saw was a gigantic open mouth pounced on us.

●—Hunt, take care of ...! —

Too late. Hunt's pat turned into a direct shot into the second snake's mouth.

● —You will be the son of **** !! I shouted before disappearing inside the monster.

This time, I tried something different.

I absorb all the air inside the body of the snake, creating a negative pressure zone. The internal walls compressed on themselves, the tissues collapsed, and the beast began to twist and convulse. A few seconds, he implored from the inside, collapsing on the ground as an empty peel. I came out covered in the creature's internal remains. And Hunt... the bastard, he just opened the door to the subdimension and left.

● —I don't think to trust you again, you bastard !!— I shouted.

I followed him quickly, ready to tear his head.

When I entered the subdimension, Hunt was already in the shower.

I waited impatiently. As soon as he left, I faced him immediately.

● — What's wrong with you? Do you think it is normal to throw myself in the mouth of a Noin monster!?

Hunt looked at me indifferently as he dried his hair.

■ —Oh, were they of Noin category? He said with total calm as he left the house and entered the workshop.

● —But you ... !! —Why do you have the analysis skill if you don't even use it!?

■ —Well, that is already past water. Have you seen this precious scale?

In front of me, Hunt held a 1 meter long glass scale, 1.5 meters wide and 5 cm thick.

I was silent. Damn be ... that scale was incredible.

● "What do you plan to do with that scale?" I said after giving him a slap on the neck. (■ —Auk—)

■ —You have passed! - He said giving up the colleja I gave him.

● —And if I give you strong so that you really complain? -

■ —No, I'm already served - his apology, he caused me a laugh, he's a bastard.

After I explained that I wanted to cut the scales to make windows, screens for the super computer, a telescope ... surely a lot of ideas occurred with a transparent material.

After taking a shower, I went to the workshop to see that I was doing hunt, that was when I saw it, the bodies of the three snakes were scattered throughout my flower garden. Hunt's gross put the snakes without looking, It has even broken a tree.

+-+-+-+

The slap Neo gave me after destroying his garden left a mark on me for a couple of days.

● —What is my writing, do not write too that then it is not understood.

+-+-+-+

Well my garden was broken, but it wasn't the only thing that changed after defeating snakes. From the evolutiontion we had deactivated notifications. So we did not realize until we saw the great change in the subdimension.

● —Your hunt, this is bigger or it seems to me - I said looking at him in the distance.

■ —Yes, it is bigger, by the way, look at the notification mailbox - he said while checking his menus.

● — "Is this an email?" I said strange.

■ —If it looks—

I slid Tolmas' message across the screen and read it out loud.

📨 From: Tolmas - Reality Manager

📩 Recipients: Neo & Hunt

📌 Subject: Congratulations on reaching level 100!

👋, Neo and Hunt! 🎉

It seems you've made another important leap in your evolution. Reaching level 100 is not something anyone can achieve, and even less so in such a short time. From here, your development will take an even more interesting path.

Improvements obtained after your recent evolution:

--Increased general statistics. Don't expect anything exaggerated, but you will notice that you are faster, more resistant, and that your mana processing is more efficient.

--Expansion of the Subdimension. It has now grown from 100x100x40m to 400x400x160m. More space for projects, storage, or whatever you want to do.

--Advanced management options. If you don't like the current dimensions, you can change them from the settings on the subdimension screen, as long as they don't exceed the total limit of 25,600,000 m³.

💠Tip: Don't get used to this happening often. Going beyond level 101 is another story. Power climbing gets... interesting. 😏

Keep like this. It is entertaining to see your progress.

- Tolmas

■ —That's all? Does it leave us on the verge of death against these snakes, we upload 30 levels and their reaction is: 'Good

Done, guys, here are more space for their jerks '? -

● —The edge of death is not, but in trouble yes. Besides, what did you expect? A parade in our honor? -

■ —Min a message with more emotion. This seems like a message made with AI, like those who send it self-

Marastically to all its employees. -

● —Yes, it looks like it. But emoji ..., emojis are the master touch - as soon as we say that, we both feel

A colleja at the same time.

"Mail is a format that you know, so don't complain." I had never sent one before.

of Tolmas resonated in our heads.

■—Did he just give us a divine slap or something? Fuck, today I'm charging ... -

● —Definitively—

That Tolmas talks us so directly is something that still surprises us. After a laugh, we went to check how big 16,000 m^2 was, we realized how empty it was all. A large blank space. We decided to make a pool, a major cultivation field and increase the warehouse. For the remodeling of the entire subdimension I had to return to the forest to collect more land, wood and water. We must bear in mind that both Hunt and me, we level up, as well as our statistics.

As for our Hunt statistics.

[< Age >] : 28

[< Job >] : Tolmas' Envoy, Great Trader.

[< Level >] : 70 >> 100

[< Life Points (HP) >] : 530 >> 720

[< Magic Points (MP) >] : 200 >> 300

[< Damage >] : 700 >> 900

[< Defense >] : 900 >> 1,000

[< Agility >] : 600 >> 750

And my statistics:

[< Age >] : 29

[< Job >] : Tolmas' Envoy

[< Level >] : 68 >> 100

[< Life Points (HP) >] : 500 >> 690

[< Magic Points (MP) >] : 400 >> 500

[< Damage >] : 700 >> 800

[< Defense >] : 900 >> 1,000

[< Agility >] : 600 >> 7500

...

Now, with the same speed, I could travel more than 460 km while Hunt could travel about 277 km. To maximum speed (280 km/h) My limit was 352 in 1 h and 15 min and hunt could cover 211 km in 45 minutes. The distance increase that we can travel gave us a big change since we went from 185 km per day to 277 km. While returning to the forest to collect all kinds of materials and the subdimension, Hunt devoted tigate the scales, and create windows, screens for computers (had to change many customization options of the supercomputer), telescope…

+-+-+-+

The scales were very similar to borosilicate glass, but had small grains of Magiston in them. Another characteristic of these plates is that they are very elastic if a little mana is applied to them.

I wanted to cut the scales, but I didn't have any tool big or fast enough to cut them, the hand saws were not enough, I had to create the jigsaw, the only option I had was to make it pneumatic, With the same principle that Neo used to make the straight grinder, I created the jigsaw. The hardest part

was making the cutting blades (it took me a long time to get them into the perfect shape). To cut the scales I had to wrap them

in a sphere of eterana, then fill it with mana, and even then it took a long time to be able to cut the scale.

The first thing I made with the cut scales were the windows of the house that until now were just wooden

slats. The next day Neo had already brought several tons of earth to the subdimension, he was flattening the ground

when I saw some thick threads coming out of Neo, through the windows I was able to see the eterana, the earth magic

that Neo was using.

Earth magic is the least precise of all since we are not able to clearly see how we manipulate the earth.

+-+-+-+

In one morning I was able to go back to the forest and collect several tons of soil, when the subdimension returned to flatten the mound of earth was when I saw Hunt run out of the house to the laboratory.

(Who knows, what is wrong with that madman)

Having the door in the forest I took advantage to cut down a few trees and make several piles of planks and beams, after all, we had to increase the warehouse. And if I had wood left over I could do some construction near the pool.

During the third day of the remodeling of the subspace, Hunt came out of the laboratory like crazy, he was wearing some glasses poorly made with a few sticks and two lenses

■— NEO! NEO! Stop whatever you're doing and tell me what you think of this! — Hunt ran excitedly.

●— If it's another one of your weird experiments, I'm busy right now — Without looking up I answered, because I was concentrating, moving a huge block of dirt with solid magic.

■— Look, I just need you to pick up some dirt using solid magic! — He said, ignoring my task completely.

●— Okay, okay, watch and learn — I sighed, but I did it reluctantly.

I spread my hands and activated solid magic. (I imagine earth magic as thin threads of Eterana coming out of my fingers that wrap around objects. I pile up a pile of earth to gently lift it.

Hunt suddenly raises a hand.

■—Stop! Don't move!—

●—Huh? Why? —I said confused. Hunt's eyes were shining with excitement.

■—Your hands... I see them! I can see the threads coming out of you!—

●—What are you saying? There's nothing.—

■—Because you don't have these glasses!— I put on the snake glass glasses.

+-+-+-+

The moment Neo put them on, his expression changed completely. His mouth parted in astonishment.

+-+-+-+

●—... It can't be... —

■—Welcome to the real world, brother— He said proudly.

All around me, I saw a silhouette, it was made of Eterana. And the most impressive thing, threads of eterana came out of my fingers just as I had imagined.

●—All this time the eterana was visible? —

■—Yep. And I just discovered it. So, basically, we now have advanced magical vision, courtesy of science and a pair of snake scales—

●—Hunt... your invention has just revolutionized everything we know about magic—

■—Of course! Did you expect anything less? —

The break from the trip lasted four days, time in which we completely remodeled the subdimension. I also took the opportunity to create moldings worthy of the Noin snake scale crystals, perfecting their use in our constructions.

After that, we continued our journey.

When we finally left the sand behind, the landscape changed dramatically. In front of us rose imposing snow-capped mountains, and beyond them, a birch forest stretched as far as the eye could see, in the light of dusk. It was a beautiful change of scenery.

(In total, the trip took us 16 days, crossing about 1,200 km of forest and 1,300 km of desert.)
