Chapter 11 - The Ravager Class Blademancer, The Speaker Class Whisperer & The Pyromancer Class Emberweaver, Pt 1:Unfavorable Odds

Theo quickly began thinking of a way out of this situation. He knew that if he went out the front he'd get jumped and maimed to death by the crowds. He also knew he wouldn't make it far if he went out the back, considering the Chief had to be quite powerful and would most likely sense Theo's attempt to escape. He wasn't too sure the wife wasn't strong, but he was absolutely certain that both the Chief and the other guy, Sir Joshua, were the powerhouses of the village.

And, as if to confirm his fears, he looked at the chieftain Jacky, the Lady Dawson and Sir Joshua stats.

[Name]: Jacky Dawson(Chieftain)

[Species]: Human

[Gender]: Male

[Class]: Ravager

[Job]: Blademancer

[Core/Cultivation]: Warrior Core, Knight Rank 2

[Affinity]: Blade, Blood

[Attributes]:

Health: 509

Agility: 716

Strength: 798

Durability: 612

Stamina: 325

Intelligence: 132

Aether: 715

[Skills]:

[Blade of the Ravager]: (Active)(Signature Technique)(D+ rank): A signature sword technique unique to the Ravager class, earned from blood, sweat and effort and countless battles. The Ravager channels raw energy through the blade, delivering a devastating slash that can cleave through armor and multiple foes at once. It leaves behind a lingering shockwave of Aether energy that damages enemies within a small radius.

Effect: Increases attack damage significantly for a short period, allowing strikes to break through defenses or hit multiple targets at once.

[Bloodthirsty Strikes]: (Passive)(C- rank): Each successful strike with the blade restores a small amount of stamina or health, especially against enemies who are suffering. The more blood that's spilt on the battlefield, the stronger and more relentless the Ravager becomes.

Effect: Increases stamina regeneration and heals users slightly, after each successful hit. Effectiveness increases with intensity of battle.

[Ravager's Fury]: (Active)(Ultimate)(B+ rank): The Ravager enters a beserk state, temporarily losing some control, but greatly increasing physical power.

Effect: Boasts damage output by a large margin and grants increased damage resistance for a short duration at the cost of user's sanity temporarily.

[War Cry of the Chief]: (Active)(Support)(D+ rank): A battle cry that not only boasts the Ravager's morale, but also inspires nearby allies, increasing effectiveness.

[Iron Resolve]: (Passive)(C- rank): A reflection of the Ravager's toughness and endurance through years of hardship and battle. This skill makes it significantly harder to debuff or stagger during combat.

Effect: Reduces the duration of status effects, such as Stun, Freeze or Poison. Also provides resistance against physical and magical knockbacks.

[Veteran'sInsight](Passive)(C- rank): The result of honing the blade and surviving the worst of battles. With this, the Ravager gains an intuitive sense of the battlefield. They are able to read an enemy's moves and counter them with deadly efficiency.

Effect: Increases the chance to block or dodge incoming attacks and grants a brief period of perfect counter attacks after a successful defense.

[Dance of the Ravager]: (Active)(Ultimate)(Secondary Technique)(A rank): A deadly combat style that combines fluid movement with precise lethal swordplay class worthy of a Blademancer-type Ravager class. The Ravager becomes a whirlwind of steel, moving between enemies with grace and savagery. While in the Dance of the Ravager, the Ravager performs a series of rapid, acrobatic strikes that overwhelms foes. This skill makes the Ravager near impossible to predict, as they fluidly flow from target to target, each strike faster and more powerful than the last. This dance not only overwhelms enemies but also protects the Ravager, allowing them to dodge incoming attacks while relentlessly attacking.

Effect 1: Significantly increases agility and attack speed for a short time. Each strike has a chance to deal critical damage and enemies hit by the Ravager's strikes have their defense reduced temporarily.

Effect 2: The ravager also gains increased evasion during this time, making it difficult to land successful hits. This skill is ideal for crowd control and evading incoming damage, while maximizing offensive output.

"Well, this is horrifying," Theo muttered, hitting himself in the head in regret. "Why didn't I leave the town when I had the chance. Fucking hell…. I need to get out of here. I need—."

[Ding! Quest Issued! Escape The Village!]

[Description]: It is no longer safe to live in your village. The villagers rally against you, and the village leaders want you dead. Survive to fight another day. Find a way out of the village safely.

[System Remark]: "Oh shit, look who pissed off the whole damn village! Nice going, genius. Better haul ass before they turn you into a corpse kebab. Survive now, cry about it later!"

[Quest Rewards]: +1 Bloodline Skill, +2 All Stats, +1 Level Up, +2 Attribute Points, +2 Skill Points.

[Penalty??]: Death!

"Fuck me!" Theo screamed aloud.

Ironically, it was at that moment that the universe deemed Dominique and Paul's arrival important, as they barged into Theo's room.

"Weakling brat!" Dominique said, head raised high as he barged into Theo's space. "The folks outside want ya dead and I've always considered myself a people's person."

"Come with us, so can you die," Paul said, grinning maliciously alongside Dominique.

"Don't fight, either," Dominique spread his hands freely. "It's what the people want, afterall."

'They look like overgrown imps with terrible dental implants and horrible hygiene,' Theo thought inwardly. 'Dumbasses.'

Still, Theo didn't pay them much attention. Releasing his [Fenris Claws], he, quick as a wolf, slashed out their vocal cords, causing them to fall to their knees, clutching their necks, unable to even scream.

"You two won't survive this — Drawing in your own blood is a terrible fate but, for the two of you, it fits perfectly," Theo causally said, washing his hands in the sink as the two teens spawned on the floor, drawing in their own blood, clawing at the air for a purchase they'll never get. "Now, to get the others…".

Theo had no intentions of running away anymore today— this evening, whatever. He was a predator, not prey, if he was going to die, he'd do so with pride and with claws, thrashing and gnawing until his final breath.

[Ding! Mission Parameters Updated! A Destroyer's Pride!]

[Description]: As the only child of Death & Destruction, a wolf's pride is their identity. Kill your would-be lynchers and show no mercy; take the first step on the road to true power!

[Quest Rewards]: +1 Bloodline Skill, +3 Affinity Skills, +1 Random Skill, +3 All Stats, +3 Level Ups, +4 Attribute Points, +4 Skill Points.

[Penalty??]: Death!

[System Remark]: "Ah, so the little pup finally grew some balls. About time your pride kicked in, you stubborn bastard. Go on—rip those assholes apart and show them what a real wolf does when his pride's on the line. Try not to die like a bitch, yeah?"

"Wow, you have got a mouth on you, huh System," Theo thought aloud.

[System Remark]: "Shut up, before I start giving you a participation trophy."

Theo's brow twitched at the system's antics. "Fucker…," he mumbled to himself.

[System Remark]: "I heard that, mutt! Get fucked, bitch!"

"Good lords," Theo just shook his head in response. 'It's so vulgar! Honestly, if the System's sassiness is what makes it the 'Superior System,' then I could have done without… Now, how will I go about this?'
