Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: FIRST TRAUMA

Life here was average, normal , predictable safe, something he took for granted the regular classes with his creator, his mother Viroshiki in his enclosure, the conversations they would have , the smell of old books tomes within the preserved library viroshiki ha stocked with her vast knowledge , the hum of servers whirring as they past data through its circuits and the masked staff of this facility, the Vanorion it was all he had known, this was his world his everything his home, the memories he had made here as Aku , it was strange nauseous , to see most of it fall the hidden facility under a raid, the sounds of battle he heard heard from the halls , the blood curdling screams that made his muscles go ridged as many staff and warriors had their lives cut prematurely short at the hands of a criminal military organization ,The Amaterasu, he sighed clutching a uratsu blaster and a crystal as he had shot one of the raiders as they approached his birthing chamber his cradle and the sealed of section of his mothers work , he had connected himself to the security system , his creator was gone, she had left for business elsewhere, she had wanted to strengthen him but to what purpose was he didn't know all he did know was that no one would get passed him and access his and his mothers sanctuary. His face faltered as a man with black hair wearing a blindfold walked in after disintegrating the door holding two of the stationed guards he smirked with sadistic delight the red emblem on his uniform glowed slightly his gauntleted fists crackling with purple destructive energy four massive arms flexing as he charged at him, he exhaled as his attack was blocked by his seemingly scrawny hands his eyes glowing a dull red as he looked on at him impassive , the face of a seemingly seven year old child looking back at him. Aku knew he was flawed in his creation , he like the new strain of beings on Atheris was apart of the Neohuman race, but unlike them he was flawed in his creation, he was not natural, but a clone of someone who has passed according to the information given to him by his mother. there was nothing he could do to even the playing field other than the fact that his physical strength and speed were mush higher than a neohuman without there augment active he was atleast a hundred times stronger than the average man and several times quicker when he pushed himself to hysterical strength he knew that would equate him to a B-rank lifeform yet he found away around the barrier he couldn't cross., he had launched the attacker back with surprising strength , He would use his intellect and his mothers gear, and her knowledge. On the ground behind him where several injectors filled with red vials injector which glowed ominously, this was a red mutagen packed with various pre-activated augmentation factors charged with ura, this explained the red glowing eyes and slits this was a steroid that would void out of his system within the next six hours he would make it count , he would make them pay for what they did to his home, and all those they killed, as runes activated along the hall as they opened up surrounding technology separating glowing and hovering around him other segments hovering over him. They thought they'd break him. Thought they'd desecrate this place. But this was his sanctuary. And he would make them pay. "You shouldn't have come here," Aku said flatly, stepping forward as the hallway bent to his will. "You brought death into a place that made life." The hall was still. Smoke curled like fingers from scorched steel. Aku stood alone, framed by the dull hum of flickering lights and the bodies of intruders that once dared to step into his cradle. Blood splattered the walls. His hands trembled—not with fear, but with clarity. "They took everything." His grip tightened on the last red vial—pulsing like a heartbeat in his palm. The scent of ozone and burnt fabric clawed into his senses as he stepped into the center of the chamber. The floor lit up. Symbols, ancient and digital, began crawling up the walls and beneath his feet. The injectors hissed. The runes bloomed. A voice echoed—his mother's, embedded into the system like a ghost. "If you're hearing this, you're choosing war. Red Bloom Protocol: ArkaShell—initiated." Aku inhaled deeply as the mutagen hit his veins. Fire surged through him, not burning but refining. His skin cracked with lines of glowing red light. Segments of armor began to assemble mid-air—folding, locking, hovering around him like petals ready to converge. His frame lifted, suspended in a gyroscopic halo of rotating glyphs. His heartbeat synced with the pulse of the core. His voice was low. Distant. "ArkaShell online." Plates of obsidian and crimson slammed into place, one after another—his limbs reinforced, spinal lattice exposed with glowing runic veins, a mask forming over his face, one eye burning with controlled vengeance. He wasn't seven. He wasn't a child. He was something else. The man with the blindfold barely had time to react. Aku blurred. And the world cracked. as he moved the sound barrier breaking only seconds after. Aku had charged the masked four armed man who called himself the Ashen one. He had tried to end him in that instant but it had failed the field of temporary power exuding of him had protected him he had seen the look in his eyes as he had ripped his arms off as he pummeled him into the ground with burning fists that surrounded that surrounded the ArkaShell that in cased him, his movements were efficient and meant to kill , to deal punishment as hard as he could , the tails of the ArkaShell Had activated catching Silkmourn's arms from his supposed blind spot as he wrenched her arm free from its socket in a show of gore as he sent he into a wall hard and fast an audible crack from the sound barrier breaking seven seconds after the movement as he moved at relavistic speeds as he broke the jaw of the ashen one stabbing his throat with brutal efficiency followed by him blowing a hole in his chest the field around him negating there augments while he abused the mutagens basic characteristics to access various other augment functions, reduced weight , increased speed ,power, reaction time friction reduction and spatial distortion as well as poison immunity all charged by he temporary stockpile of condensed ura in his form which slowly ebbed away.

He had turned to Jargo Varn as he was about to attack the remaining living guards and staff who were still evacuating the premises. He had appeared suddenly without warning taking him off his feat as his eyes glew from the vents of his suit. Jargo snarled as he was disembowled the space between his two halves increasing as his torso was thrown into the ceiling as he smashed his throat in an extended tendril from his tail grabbing the last visible offenders Serna Talith , the veined priestess and Tharnic Roe , the wormcaller who was chewing a scorpions tail as hw rode in on a massive monstrous centipede he hand mutilated his mount and broke his back as he casually slit his throat as he gazed at the fleeing survivors of the facility as he smiled at them throwing darts that contained charged recovery fluid healing the worst of there wounds. he then dispatched of the priestess in quick succession as he felt his power drop rapidly.

He had completely used the available charge of ura available in the mutagen , he watched as the ArkaShell shutdown as the dark grey ,black red and white multi armed and appendage armor constricted and fell open and apart loosing functionality without the specific formula the childlike form of Arc revealed as he doubled over his eyes blood shot as he coughed up copious amounts of blood as the backlash hit him at once, he wasn't supposed to use the armor till he had the necessary physical fortitude to handle it ,he took out a green vial which he stabbed himself with letting the contents pass through his body as he calmed down a green glow enveloping him as he healed , his brown eyes that still had a hint of the mutagen noticed another figure enter the room as he kicked debris into his eyes.

He stood at a height of 6 feet five inches dressed in a tactical uniform with a tactical lab coat, his presence a look of power passing over his eyes a manic grin as he looked over his four foot eleven inch tall form as he struck him in the gut his durability due to the residual mutagen in his system preventing him from running through him entirely he was equivalent to a low level A-rank yet the man infront of him looked at him with twisted fascination and malevolence , a sadistic grin planted on his once composed face his power level was at least S-2 rank especially the unnatural gold glow that emanated from his metallic gold irises that seemed to exude the power of various beasts. , his scarlet red hair swaying in the wind as he picked him up arc trying to resist as he cried he felt the mans palm around his throat , he was filled with intrigue as he looked him over as arc had reverted to his base form strength leaving his body as he looked at the face of his captor.

His photographic memory had recorded all the trouble that had taken place, including that dreadful gaze those soulless eyes that gazed back at him choking him he had been caught, the man had called himself Shinzo Hibino he had commented n the destruction he had caused injuring his tools, after all they could be recovered and rebuilt he knew they were alive after all he had made them that way and now he had something that would make his time here worthwhile , a normal human being one of the old world unmodified for the most part except for his uncharacteristically high resilience, a new raw material to shape into a vessel worthy of there god ,there patron, Evaltol.

Arc , looked on at him scared for his life as he was knocked out , his sanctuary remained hidden its contents secured by a last minute protocol he had made to disguise its presence his cradle would be safe and so would his mothers work he a flaw had accomplished his goal to protect what was his what he cherished , but was the cost worth it , paid in his life the lives lost , his freedom, free will and cognitive functions was his very existence worth the cost?

To him the answer was yes. he asked his mother for forgiveness for his failure in his last moments within the Vanorion facility.

He was knocked out with as he felt his backbone snap at his neck he was paralyzed as he was taken various other members of the Amaterasu retrieving the mutilated cohorts of the ashen one as a portal opened behind him, it glowed as hey walked through.
