Chapter 79 - 79

Ye Yinchuan glanced at the user named "Jin Fu's Diary," then at the Mankey in the cage.

For a moment, it was hard to tell who should be locked in the cage.

The reason was simple.

This guy was just too massive.

Standing over two meters tall, he almost touched the ceiling. With his dark skin, bulging muscles, and slightly curly long hair, he looked like a fierce warrior.

If this were ancient times, he'd definitely be a general!

Meanwhile, the Mankey was less than half a meter tall, looking like a child next to him, as if it could be knocked out with a single punch.

If it were anyone else, Ye Yinchuan might advise against keeping a Mankey, but this guy… even a super-aggressive Primeape would probably be no match for him.

"Let me take a look at this Mankey. Give me some more camera angles."

Since the guy had asked for an appraisal, Ye Yinchuan didn't hesitate and went straight into the process.

He put on a show while also taking the chance to admire the Mankey.

Mankey, Mankey.

As the name suggests, it's a monkey-like monster.

In Ye Yinchuan's eyes, Mankey looked like a cross between a pig and a monkey.

The most striking feature was its pig-like nose.

Mankey didn't have a distinct head and body; it was just one big ball of flesh that served as both.

Its facial features were all on this ball, and its limbs were attached to it as well. It defied logic but somehow looked oddly harmonious.

Mankey was covered in fluffy, pale white fur, with brown accents on the inner edges of its ears and the tips of its limbs and tail.

Its facial features, aside from the pig nose, included a pair of inverted triangular eyes with more whites than pupils. The pupils were red, and there were frown-like lines, making it look fierce when angry.

But right now, this Mankey was calm, even appearing somewhat乖巧 (well-behaved).

Mankey had ears, somewhat like a cat's.

Additionally, its hands and feet had three toes each.

Its hands were a mix of cat and monkey paws, resembling boxing gloves.

Its feet were more like bird claws, with two toes in front and one in the back, well-developed and capable of gripping branches or other objects firmly.

Mankey's tail was unmistakably monkey-like—flexible and strong, allowing it to hang from trees or grab objects like a third hand.

This Mankey's appearance was flawless, and Ye Yinchuan couldn't help but nod in approval.

Then he checked its stats panel.

**[Pig-Monkey Pokémon: Mankey]**

**[Level: 19]**

**[Type: Normal]**

**[Gender: Female]**

**[Base Stats: C-rank (305)]**

**[Individual Values: B-rank (135)]**

**[Nature: Lonely]**

**[Moves: Scratch, Leer, Focus Energy, Covet, Fury Swipes, Low Kick, Seismic Toss, Swagger]**

**[Status: Tired]**

**[Evolution Path: Mankey → Primeape → Annihilape]**

"Wow, this Mankey has so many moves!"

Ye Yinchuan silently counted.

How many? A full eight moves!

This Mankey was only level 19 and already had eight moves!

And its ability, **Anger Point**, was incredibly powerful, often allowing it to turn the tide in battles.

**[Ability: Anger Point]**

**[When a Pokémon with this ability is hit by a critical hit, it becomes extremely angry, greatly increasing its physical strength and allowing it to deal more physical damage.]**

"Your Mankey is something else."

Ye Yinchuan gave a thumbs-up.

Although its IVs were only B-rank.

And on the lower end of B-rank at that, everything else was solid.

Especially with so many moves and such a strong ability, it more than made up for the lower IVs.

"Jin Fu's Diary, you mentioned that this Mankey has a temper and asked if I had any good training methods, right?"

Ye Yinchuan repeated the question.

At the same time, he used a search engine to gather information about Mankey in this world.

Sure enough.

In this world, people's understanding of Mankey was slightly different from what he knew.

The basic consensus was still there.

That Mankey had a short temper.

But people in this world didn't fully understand why Mankey was so prone to anger. The current conclusion was that Mankey would "suddenly rage" over minor things.

And when Mankey got angry, its body would tremble, and its breathing would become rapid.

"Anchor, my username is Jin Fu's Diary. Yes, that's why I connected with you today."

"Uh, your name is quite… unique. Alright, no problem. Jin Fu, it's normal for Mankey to have a temper. The key is to find its triggers and also to discipline it properly, so it doesn't get too out of hand."

Ye Yinchuan thought for a moment.

"You can check out my episode on the super-macho Machop. There are clips online, and the training methods are actually quite similar."

"I do discipline it! When it gets angry, I scold it and even hit it, but it doesn't help at all!"

Jin Fu's words startled Ye Yinchuan.

Although Pokémon were physically stronger than humans, with Jin Fu's build, hitting this Mankey seemed a bit like Pokémon abuse.

"How do you scold it and hit it?"

Ye Yinchuan narrowed his eyes.

If something was off, he was ready to contact the Pokémon Bureau to let Jin Fu know that such "criminal behavior" was wrong.

[Using violence against Mankey can backfire!]

[With that build, wouldn't he beat the Mankey black and blue?]

"Alright."

Jin Fu began to demonstrate.

He crouched next to the cage, his thigh and shoulder muscles bulging, exuding an intimidating presence like a tiger.

Even through the screen, it was unnerving.

It was hard to imagine how brutal it would be if he actually started hitting it.

What puzzled everyone was that the Mankey, with its eyes half-closed, looked docile.

It wasn't scared or angry.

[Is the Mankey scared?]

[I wouldn't dare to get angry either!]

In fact, people in this world had another misconception: that Mankey was always aggressive.

But in reality, when not angry, they were quite gentle and calm.

They just got angry too easily, leading to this misunderstanding.

Jin Fu explained:

"It's not angry now, but it will be soon."

With that, he opened the cage.

Suddenly, the Mankey's expression changed. Its body trembled, its breathing became heavy, and it raised its hands, letting out an "ooh ooh" sound, ready to attack.

"Bang! Bang!"

The Mankey punched the cage door twice, denting it.

[Wait, why did it get angry?]

[What set it off?]

"You see, anchor…"

Jin Fu forced a bitter smile.

Then he reached in and grabbed the Mankey's hand:

"Hey, you! Do you know how many cages you've broken? And my fridge and TV! Do you know how expensive those are?"

Jin Fu scolded sternly.

Ye Yinchuan watched as the Mankey went from gentle to furious without warning, even attacking the cage.

From what Jin Fu said, it often destroyed furniture.

Suddenly, Ye Yinchuan felt a bit relieved.

This Mankey… maybe a few punches weren't so bad!

Finally, Jin Fu was about to take action.

Just as Ye Yinchuan was feeling conflicted, thinking he was about to witness a muscle man vs. Pokémon showdown…

Jin Fu reached out and lightly patted the Mankey's paws.

Just… gently patted them.

Ye Yinchuan leaned forward, his face slightly red, looking like a shrimp.

Wait, bro?

You scolded it, fine, not too harshly, but your tone was stern.

But you call this hitting?

I slap mosquitoes harder than that!

"Ooh ooh!"

The Mankey, being "hit" like this, wasn't fazed at all. In fact, it got even more worked up, throwing two punches at Jin Fu.

Jin Fu blocked both punches with one hand, standing firm like a mountain, then lightly patted the Mankey twice more.

Looking at how reluctant he was to actually hit it.

Ye Yinchuan realized his concern was unnecessary.

This wasn't abuse; it was spoiling!

"You see? Hitting it like this doesn't help at all!"

"You're just playing with it!"

Ye Yinchuan facepalmed, feeling a headache coming on.

Who would've thought that the towering, fierce-looking Jin Fu could be so gentle!
