Ava noticed that Liam seemed a little off and quickly explained, "That painting was hanging in his office. One of his old clients bought it for thirteen million. He even transferred an extra million to me as a thank-you. I tried to return it, but he refused, saying it was like treating me to dinner. I felt it wasn't appropriate, so I painted another lotus piece for him. But he still insisted on buying me dinner. I couldn't really decline, so I told him I'd bring you along. If you're not free, I'll ask Stella to come with me."
Before she finished speaking, Liam's voice came from the other end of the line: "I'm free."
Ava smiled. "Thanks."
