The guild was still buzzing with excitement.
Lucky Luke—the mysterious merchant who had just gone toe-to-toe with Yami—was now an ally.
Yami sat at a table, arms crossed, watching Lucky with a raised brow.
"So, what's your deal?"
Lucky grinned, tossing an apple in the air and catching it. "Oh-ho! That's a broad question! My deal is making deals!"
Rei sighed. "This guy…"
Lina adjusted her glasses. "You had ridiculous abilities during that fight. How did a merchant get so strong?"
Lucky laughed. "Well, you see, I was just blessed with luck!
Yami narrowed his eyes. "That's not an answer."
Lucky leaned forward, smirking. "You're right, it's not. But tell me, Yami—do you actually want to know everything?"
Yami frowned.
Lucky's eyes gleamed.
"There's a price for knowledge, my friend. And sometimes, that price is better left unpaid."
Silence.
For once, Lucky wasn't joking.
Yami sighed. "Fine. Keep your secrets."
Lucky grinned again. "Oh-ho! You're learning fast!"
Kira, who had been watching the exchange quietly, finally spoke.
"So… what happens now?"
Yami glanced at her. "We keep going. I'm not stopping until I reach the top."
Rei smirked. "That's the Yami I know."
Lina nodded. "If that's the case, we should head to the next dungeon."
Lucky snapped his fingers. "Oh-ho! I got an ability for that!"
Everyone groaned.
Yami sighed. "…What now?"
Lucky pulled out a map.
"This is the next big dungeon—the Tomb of the Forsaken. It's got undead, curses, and all sorts of spooky stuff!"
Kira shivered. "That sounds awful."
Yami grinned. "Sounds perfect."
Lucky winked. "I thought you'd say that."
As the group prepared for their next adventure, they had no idea that new allies, new enemies, and new dangers awaited them.
And somewhere, in a different part of town…
A kind girl with green magic in her hands was preparing to take her first steps into the world of adventurers.
