The Dark Elemental Lord knew a lot, and everything he said gave Roa a clear understanding.
To become a true king, to become a more perfect being, he opened the gate to the source, stealing the last true Dark and true Fire, but he also paid the price for it.
Now, what Roa had to do was to deal with the mess left behind by these guys for hundreds of years.
Roa silently assessed the gains and losses in his heart, finally turning his gaze to the Dark Elemental Lord and asking, "If I help you complete the task, what can you give me?"
The rewards given by the system were unrelated to the Dark Elemental Lord; Roa planned to extract another benefit from him.
The Dark Elemental Lord smiled bitterly, somewhat helplessly saying, "What I can give you, haven't you already taken? Whether it's Restia or other things."
Roa nodded; the implication was that the other party had nothing left to offer him.
But Roa did not believe the other party's words, bluntly stating, "So, besides telling me the history of development, do you have nothing else?"
The nine suns hung high in the sky, beneath them was the rolling black ocean, and Roa's spiritual world had reached such a vast scale.
The scorching divine power shone on the Dark Elemental Lord, who gritted his teeth; although he was tough, this level of divine power was enough to completely refine him.
The Dark Elemental Lord took a deep breath, finally bowing down, lowering his head and saying, "Please, help me free them."
He wanted to live, but he would not naively think that Roa would easily let him live.
Pushed into the fire pit by the life he created, the Dark Elemental Lord had no words to express his plight.
If it were an ordinary person or a spirit mage with weak mental power, he would occupy the other party's soul in secret and subtly change them with his own status.
But the current Roa was clearly beyond the realm of ordinary people. The Dark Elemental Lord originally only wanted to catch a small shrimp, but unexpectedly, a giant shark had come.
He too had his own difficulties.
Although he had long since died, this part of his consciousness was a remnant of his main body, but as the saying goes, who wants to die if they can live? Even a remnant thought is the same.
Roa glanced at the Dark Elemental Lord, remaining silent.
The Dark Elemental Lord opened his mouth, gritted his teeth, and said to Roa, "I will pass that power on to you. I know your strength is great, but without the right person to help, even if you obtain that power, it will be greatly diminished. Restia cannot control that power; you need my assistance."
Roa nodded noncommittally, and the flowing water gathered around the Dark Elemental Lord.
Roa's voice echoed across the surface of the sea.
"Since that's the case, let's do as you say."
The water pulled and engulfed the Dark Elemental Lord. A flash of unwillingness crossed the Dark Elemental Lord's face, but looking at the rising sun above, he could only sigh deeply in the end.
The Dark Elemental Lord had no other choice.
A black mark appeared on the spirit patterns of Roa's left hand, and a dark hue lit up from the spirit veins. At the moment he absorbed the Dark Elemental Lord, Roa's dual contract was also completed.
After absorbing the Dark Elemental Lord, a trace of black energy flickered in Roa's eyes, coming quickly and leaving just as fast.
His golden, brilliant hair danced in the wind, and Roa's eyes became even more radiant.
The uncontrollable divine power within him also calmed down at this moment.
Roa controlled his divine power, keeping it together; the three powers were distinct and did not interfere with each other, forming a delicate balance.
Roa's body was undeniably powerful. Even though the dark power came from an external source, it could still exist within him.
These three powers were:
Magic power
Fiery divine power
Incoming dark divine power
The three powers could not be classified as good or bad; essentially, once they entered Roa's body, they were completely possessed by him.
The quality of magic power was higher than that of fiery divine power, while fiery divine power was roughly equivalent to dark divine power. All three could be converted into one another to a certain extent.
A small amount of magic power could convert into more divine power, while converting divine power into magic power required significantly more.
This was the rule within Roa's body.
Roa extended his hand, and mist surged; the rolling black mist continued to condense, an ominous aura appeared. Roa gazed at the black mist, lost in thought.
Restia's eyes radiated an indescribable brilRence as she stepped forward, slightly bowing to Roa and whispering, "Master."
Roa shifted his gaze from the swirling mist in his hand to Restia, pausing for a moment on her exquisite face, and nodded, saying, "Just call me Roa from now on."
Restia remained silent, a faint blush lingering on her beautiful cheeks.
Roa looked at the fallen Ren Ashbell and curiously asked, "What about her?"
Ren Ashbell's wounds had healed, and the black aura around her had completely dissipated; she lay quietly on the ground.
Restia looked at Ren Ashbell with a complex expression, revealing a mix of emotions.
"What will you do with her, Restia?" Roa asked curiously.
Restia was silent for a moment before coldly saying, "Hand her over to Greyworth; she will take good care of her."
Ah, that old woman.
Roa thought of the girl's stunning Blade Dance and felt a bit overwhelmed. If it weren't for that old woman secretly teaching others the Absolute Blade Arts, the girl wouldn't have become so powerful even after being corrupted by the darkness from another world.
If he were to face Solomon directly, it wouldn't be an instant kill, but resolving the situation wouldn't be too troublesome either.
He inwardly complained about the old woman being unreliable, always causing him various troubles.
After reflecting on this, Roa reached out, picked up the girl, and threw her over his shoulder. He turned to Restia and said, "Let's go. I promised you I would help you eliminate the Elemental Lord, so just follow me for now."
Looking at the ravaged ground, who could have imagined that this desolate ruin was once a lush forest not long ago?
However, for Roa, the instigator, there was no psychological pressure at all. With the silent girl following behind him and the girl draped over his shoulder, he set off with a faint smile on his face.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, he glanced toward a corner, a smile forming at the corner of his mouth. He handed the girl on his shoulder to Restia and walked toward the corner.
In the corner, the previously arrogant boy was now filled with fear.
Roa approached, observing the boy lost in thought. This boy was the one who had claimed to be the heir of the Demon King.
Just moments ago, he had witnessed the entire battle as a bystander and was now trembling in fear.
There was no way around it; the power displayed was beyond his imagination.
Just the fluctuations of that divine power were enough to crush him dozens of times.
If he hadn't been clever enough to sense that something was wrong and quickly found cover, he would have been in serious trouble.
The shockwave from the cover was devastating, and Jio had to summon his magic mirror spirit to withstand it, losing four spirits in the process just to stabilize himself.
"What do you think I should do with you?"
Jio forced a smile on his face, stammering, "Uh, can we just pretend this never happened?"
Roa's gaze fixed on him, seemingly trying to read something in his eyes.
Jio immediately felt an increase in pressure. Under the gaze of those golden eyes, he trembled.
The pressure from someone at the top of the food chain made Jio feel like a fish on a cutting board, knowing that if the other party wanted, he could easily tear him apart.
Previously, he thought the person before him was nothing special and that he could easily defeat him. Even when he saw that world-destroying curry stick, he calculated that he could probably achieve that level of attack, which is why he had come to provoke.
He never expected to be used as a weapon by Restia. Fortunately, Jio had successfully led Restia here.
However, unfortunately, Jio had witnessed the beginning and end of a great battle.
This battle made Jio deeply aware of his own powerlessness and weakness.
If he were facing someone of similar strength, or even someone slightly stronger but still within reach, he would have a competitive spirit.
But now, even looking up, he couldn't see Roa's face; the disparity in strength was too great.
But was it really like that?
If he were to obtain Solomon's power, if he were to inherit the Dark Elemental Lord's legacy, could he also be like him?
Majestic and invincible, looking down on him like this, with such indifference, knowing that at any moment, he could easily take his life.
If, if.
Countless thoughts raced through his mind, and the fear in his body made Jio bow and plead, but once the seed of ambition was planted in his heart, it would eventually take root and sprout.
Roa looked at the person before him, a smile curling at the corners of his mouth.
Roa never left behind any loose ends.
"Well, since that's the case, you might as well just die."
Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed Jio by the neck. Flames ignited in Jio's eyes, and the fear in his body made him tremble. As all his fear surged like a tide wanting to drown him, he fought back.
"Show yourself! Magic Light Spirit—"
Lightning gathered in Jio's hand and fiercely struck toward Roa.
Roa watched him with interest.
Feeling the fluctuations of Jio's divine power, Roa smiled and said, "I see, I see. You're not even a spirit user, are you?"
The lightning gathered, and a bolt the size of a thumb exploded in front of Roa. With a slight grip of his left hand, the exploding lightning was enveloped and then vanished without a trace.
Jio's face twisted in rage as he screamed, "Show yourself! Sword Spirit—!"
Red light shone again from Jio, patterns glowing, and a long sword appeared in his hand.
However, before Jio could make any move, Roa exerted a slight force with his right hand, completely breaking Jio's neck.
Jio's eyes filled with blood, his face still showing unwillingness.
His attachment to life, his thirst for power, and his envy of the strength of the person before him.
But all of this vanished with a crisp sound.
"Boring."
Roa coldly tossed Jio's corpse aside, his smile disappearing.
"It was just using other means to liberate a spirit that didn't belong to you."
Roa glanced at Jio, who had completely breathed his last, igniting a flame in his hand. The flame flew toward Jio's location, and upon contact, it erupted into a raging fire, consuming Jio entirely and turning him into a pile of ashes.
Roa shrugged and turned his gaze to Restia, noticing that there was not a trace of sympathy on her face.
Roa prepared to pick up the girl lying on the ground again, but then seemed to remember something. He frowned and looked back at Restia, pondering for a moment before saying, "Um, Restia, why don't you carry her?"
With Restia looking puzzled, Roa handed the girl to Jio's hands and then walked straight ahead.
After leaving the desolate area and walking for a while, they finally saw trees again.
The ancient trees of the sky exuded a tenacious vitality; these trees could live for a long time, even hundreds or thousands of years, without withering.
However, these trees could also be completely destroyed by a great fire or battles like the one just witnessed.
Passing through the woods and stepping on the path laid with dry yellow branches, they soon saw the massive white palace at the end of their sight.
Restia's footsteps paused slightly, but Roa continued walking forward, followed by two little companions.
Both girls were stunningly beautiful; either one could be considered a school beauty in this academy.
In Greyworth's office, Roa stood inside, with Restia following behind him, while Ren Ashbell was sent to the infirmary to recuperate.
Silence, a long silence.
Greyworth frowned, her gaze shifting back and forth between Restia and Roa.
Roa could no longer contain himself, a mocking smile appearing on his face as he taunted Greyworth, "I didn't hear you mention that you had another disciple outside."
Greyworth turned her gaze to Roa, puzzled, "I never said I only had you as a disciple, did I?"
Roa snorted coldly, pointing at Restia, and expressed his dissatisfaction, "You should know each other, right? Have you thought about how to handle this?"
