Tell me Kian is messing with me again. He has to. Because how the fuck do we walk in the snow this thick?! Gods save me. I am not doing this.
I stand still, glaring at Kian with so much distraught that I never knew I could muster.
"What?" He barks.
"What do you mean, 'What'?" I bellow back, "How are we supposed to walk in this weather?" I slay my hands to my side in complete exasperation, disbelief settling into the grooves of my face.
"Just like me." Kian gestures at himself, then the blond woman beside him and the stone-faced guard behind me, "Just like us, how else?"
I stare at him as if trying to see if he has grown two heads on his shoulder. Nope. Just one, still there.
My nostrils flare, and I drop to the snow-coated ground, "No way in the freaking hell, I am going there like this." I cross my arms over my chest adamantly, "The cult is several kilometers away. And if I have to walk there in this weather I might as well die."
