"It's good to see you awake, Mr. Winters. You have been asleep for seven days." Liu had a smile on his face when he saw Darius awake.
The young warrior was out cold for a week, it was a miracle he walked into the uncharted dungeon and even came out. He was not meant to survive whatever it was Liu saw there, but still, Darius was not just any warrior.
"It is good to be up. Thank you for looking after Lena." Darius scratched his head, he knew they must have been taking care of her since he was asleep. "I know she must have been a handful when I was out."
"Nonsense, if anything, my daughter is always happy to have over. She is like a second child to us." Liu kept smiling, but in reality, he was looking at Darius. He wondered how one warrior could walk into something like that and make it out alive.
'He has plenty of scars on his body from the fight but no physical wounds, almost like his body regenerates on its own.'
Liu looks at Darius in awe of the kind of man before him.
